[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't usually bother to write an online review for any product. However, after having tried Charmin Ultra I would have to say that it is a great product. A pet peeve of mine is if toilet paper comes off while being used. This toilet paper is really soft and tough...

After many years of buying Charmin my wife has switched our household to another brand which has not reduced the width of its rolls. First the thickness of the cardboard in the core of the roll was reduced so much that rolls are no longer round. Now the width of the roll has been reduced by almost one half an inch...approximantley a 10% rduction with no reduction in price. You have significantly reduced the quality of a great product. After the New Coke experience I thought that companies would have learned their lesson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being from Charmin my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. The product was strong, yet it gently cleaned. It did not tear or rip, it was gentle, cleaned well and did not clog. Excellent Product. Meets the needs of the consumer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried all of the other bathroom tissues, I find the charmin ultra strong to be a good balance between effective and soft. Some of the softer tissues don't really do the job, they're simply too soft. Some of the other tissues are simply too rough, and hurt. This is a good balance, and doesn't tend to tear in your hand, leaving unwanted holes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no doubt that the quality of the toilet paper is fantastic, as it is exceptionally soft. By comparison, Scott brand (in particular) is very abrasive and while I'm sure Scott brand is environmentally friendly, it feels as if you're using tree bark on sensitive areas. Charmin definitely excels when it comes to comfort, though. The only concern I have is that it feels stronger than other toilet paper, leaving me to ponder whether it will have a tendency to clog the pipes because it takes longer to breakdown in the water. Thus far, we haven't noticed any issues in that regard, but it is something we are monitoring to see if the strength of the toilet paper is a downfall when it comes to the pipes. However, barring any unforeseen clogging of the toilet, the product itself is wonderful. I don't know how it compares in cost to other brands but my recollection is that Charmin tends to go on sale frequently in the grocery store so that any difference in price can be easily addressed if it is purchased when on sale or using a coupon. All in all, though, I would certainly recommend the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was skeptical at first. I mean obviously there are those super cheap TPs that feel like you are using sandpaper. No body likes that. Anyway hearing the Charmin had come out with an ultra strong Tp that was soft and would not rip apart as you take it off the roll I didn't think it would be different than other super soft Tp. I was wrong this toilet paper not only stays as one which is excellent when there is the chance you may be in the middle of a crisis while using it, its also insanely soft. I have got no other choice but to use Charmin Ultra Strong! I think that anybody who uses this will not only love it they will buy it.

Ultra Strong has been my favorite toilet paper for years because of it's durability, thickness, and strength. Just last week I bought a new pack and I am disappointed to find that the product has changed. The sheets are now much thinner and not as "strong" as they were before. I find myself having to use more sheets now each time as well, so the roll runs out faster. I'm pretty disappointed and might have to find a new brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not great at all. I was expecting the toughness for those unexpected moments but also softness. I felt as though I was using a piece of paper on my behind. It did not please the women in my house either. This will not be a product on my wife's shopping list anytime soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this product. We chose to take it camping with us to see how it would do. It did great and we didn't have issue with it. It was very absorbent and we didn't have any leaks. Overall great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is not only soft, but extremely tough. Safe to say I feel confident in this product before heading to the restroom. I have mentioned this product to several friends and family members, who thought this product was also amazing. Thank you charmin for a great product!
