Coffee Center BaristaBar

I have had several Cusinart coffee makers and have been satisfied with all of them. I am pleased with the BaristaBar 4in1. My only issue is the steam wand - it works, but is so low that it is impossible to get a cup off without spilling the water. I am learning to adjust to it, mostly by moving the coffee center to the edge of the counter to get the cup lower than the wand. So far, I have no other issues.

Unit makes clicking noise.

I like the coffee maker. I am happy with the K cup unit, it works well. I have a problem with the on off function. It is very unclear when you turn on the brew function that it is actually turned off. The other complaint is after the coffee is brewed and it is in the warmer mode, the unit makes clicking noise about every 10 minutes. That is very annoying.

NICE Coffee Center

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best machines (so far) on the market. It takes K cups without fuss, Nespresso pods and ground coffee. It heats up fast too. Water tank a bit of a pain to fill as it is shallow - front to back - so if you have it on your kitchen counter under an overhead cabinet, you have to pull the machine out to fill, or remove the tank to bring to the sink. My wife would like a 12 oz option on the k-cups, but does OK with two presses on the 6 oz setting

Fast and good, but did not include all accessories

It makes pretty decent coffee and is relatively fast. Carbon filters in the water are a nice touch to help improve flavor, and a reusable mesh coffee filter included with the machine was appreciated. However, it does not include the reusable coffee pod accessory, even though it's prominently displayed on the product photos. They only cost a couple dollars, so it would have been nice to include one of those as well.

Excellent coffee...needs more initial run-in

Excellent coffee maker in all forms: drip, pod, and nespresso. Easy to use. Quality cups of coffee if you're using good ingredients. Mine needed several cycles of water running through the pod areas to eliminate an initial plastic flavor. I think that when it's new and the water sits in either the tank or the heating area, it develops an off flavor. This went away with time. For a while, I needed to run the first cup of just water to clear it and the next cup was good. It works well the first time now.

Great coffee pot + intro espresso maker

Great machine - entry level espresso maker + the full pot brewer. I wanted an option to be able to brew a full pot, which is what we'll use most of the time, but also to have the espresso maker for "special" drinks every now and then. It's perfect for someone not wanting to invest heavily in that aspect of their brewing. The milk frother is a bit annoying with the placement, but it is not prohibitive and I can just slide my maker out from under the counter to use it.

Worthwhile upgrade for a Kurig and separate coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a Cuisinart coffee maker and I broke the carafe. So we upgraded to the 4 in 1. Works really well on pod and netspresso - much faster delivery than our Kurig, and quieter. Well featured and a major space saver. It also looks great in our kitchen.

Quality and sharp looking machine

The Cuisinart 4N1 Barista is one of the most aestetically pleasing coffee machines on the market. It claims to prepare Ground coffee in a 12 cup carafe, k-cups, nespresso pods and also hot water for tea or hot chocolate. Its steamer is NOT a frother for cream, pick one up separately. It's heating plate under the carafe gets hot quickly and keeps your coffee hot for hours.

Fantastic coffee maker!

This is a fantastic 3 in 1 coffee maker. Actually, it’s 4 in 1 with the milk frother. It’s easy to use and makes great, hot coffee of any kind. We have been enjoying making Nespresso cappuccinos and large pots of coffee. Can’t wait to try K-cups. It is well made and looks great on my counter.

It could be better

It is one of the better coffeemakers and has the ability to use the available Nespresso/K cups and is easy to use. Unfortunately, its overall height requirement precludes it form using it on a standard kitchen counter, forcing to slide it out from under the upper cabinets. This particularly annoying as it is quite cumbersome to move it. A removeable forther attachment that can be easily washed would have been better.
