Great machine - entry level espresso maker + the full pot brewer. I wanted an option to be able to brew a full pot, which is what we'll use most of the time, but also to have the espresso maker for "special" drinks every now and then. It's perfect for someone not wanting to invest heavily in that aspect of their brewing. The milk frother is a bit annoying with the placement, but it is not prohibitive and I can just slide my maker out from under the counter to use it.

The machine makes a great pot of coffee. I haven't used the espresso or wand features much, but they have worked well when I have. The k-cup feature has been very hit or miss for me. When it works correctly, it brews a great cup of coffee. Unfortunetly about 1/3 of the time it doesn't work. Despite the pod being correctly inserted, it produces a cup of hot water with a sligh brown tint. I cannot figure out what the issue is, but it's frustrating.

As someone who likes the convenience of a K-cup or an espresso pod in the morning, all the capability of a full pot when we have company, and the sheer joy of relaxing with a freshly brewed latte, this 4-in-1 coffeemaker does it all. It is everything I want and need, and incredibly easy to use and maintain. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who loves types of coffee.

Design flaws otherwise decrease the overall value of a really good product. It is difficult to determine if the machine is turned on to brew. Then it is also difficult to know if the machine has been turned off by pushing the on/off button. Can't control how long the warner stay on. The steamer tube is clearly too long such that it is very difficult (dangerous) to remove a cup with hot liquid in it after using it to pour hot water/steam into it. The pod cup can be removed and a cup for regular ground coffee can be inserted instead of using expensive pods, but the manual does not explain this. But if you want a really good cup of coffee from the pot or single brew, it delivers.

Love this machine and how flexible it is. We can brew pots of coffee, use K-Cups or make a fancy espresso drink with steamed milk. It's pretty easy to use and to make espresso drinks using the recipes in the back of the book. My only complaint and that's why this is four stars instead of five is that we've had our machine for only about two weeks and it's already malfunctioning. About half the time when we make K-Cups it just disperses water and no coffee. To their credit, they are sending a new machine to replace this faulty one, but it still sucks to have to wait almost two weeks to get a new machine!

I came from another big brand, and I love how easy Cuisinart products are to use! The pods make cleaning so easy. I also like the large coffee pot, 12 cups. But, its large. So keep that in mind. The controls are a little much, but not sure what else you'd do. On the other hand the price is good for this many features. So far so good!

This machine does it all! You feel like an espresso? Good. You feel like a pot of coffee? No problem. You just want a pod? Go for it. How about a cappuccino? Will do. This machines really does it all. From the steamed milk to the regular coffee, whatever your heart desires this machine can handle it. We absolutely love it and got rid of 2 other machines and replaced it with this 4-in-1 which takes up no more room than our other machines.

Wow! That I am beyond amazed at this machine! Could it really do it all? Yes, yes it can. I upgraded from a keirug so I needed a single pod brewer. With that said, I haven’t had a pot of coffee in at least 15 years, and I love it! I set auto brew and come home to fresh brewed coffee. The smell is divine! The espresso pods brew perfectly and they don’t have to be the expensive nespresso ones. The steamer works great too! The only thing is that the positioning of the steamer rod is weird. Once you steam, it is tricky to tip it enough to get the rod out without spilling because there isn’t much clearance. Deal breaker? No! Challenge accepted? Yes! I highly recommend this machine if you are on the fence. I really enjoy it and use every feature at least once a week.

Love my new 4 in 1 coffee maker! The flexibility to make expresso, a pot of coffee or a single cup is exactly what I was looking for. The steamer took a couple of practices but is easy to use. I purchased a separate small sized steamer cup and it fits nicely under the steamer. I recommend reading all the directions before using. I do have to pull it from under my counter to fill the back reservoir but a small price for the flexibility of the center!

I have had several Cusinart coffee makers and have been satisfied with all of them. I am pleased with the BaristaBar 4in1. My only issue is the steam wand - it works, but is so low that it is impossible to get a cup off without spilling the water. I am learning to adjust to it, mostly by moving the coffee center to the edge of the counter to get the cup lower than the wand. So far, I have no other issues.
