I have been using this item for several months now and I can tell you it makes a really good brewed cup, k-cup, or espresso cup. It is also very easy to clean and program. It took a minute to get used to switching between brew types, but we are good now.

...But otherwise, I might just as well be in a commercial espresso shop, except there is never a humongous line in my kitchen! Seriously, this is a serious coffee-maker. My old Cuisinart drip-brew coffee maker finally gave out after many years of excellent service and I started shopping online for its replacement. The Barista 4-in-1 was a little more pricey than I had first intended, but then I realized, '4-in-1, I'm really buying four machines!' which made the price point very agreeable. The machine itself was amazingly simple to set up and looks very sharp on my kitchen counter. Both its water reservoirs (for drip brew and for forced K-cup/Espresso pods) are easily filled, no muss, no fuss. The mechanics of getting the actual drink are completely uncomplicated and 100% consistent. Cup after cup, no matter the mode, is always perfect. Even the clean-up after steaming milk for a latte, cappuccino, or mocha is an effortless breeze. The steamer stem is long enough to prevent froth overflows, and a quick wipe with a clean damp paper towel returns the wand to its original pristine condition immediately. Returning to economics, I save time and waste less undrunk leftover coffee than ever before and for a quick 'cuppa', nothing beats the wonderful single-serve options in 6, 8, or 10 oz sizes, or the no-hassle espresso pods for a single or 'doppio' shot. Oh, yes, I can also change-up my game and make tea or excellent cocoa! Thank you, Cuisinart!

I could not be happier with my new Barista Bar 4-1 Coffee Maker. The water remains hot for a fantastic cup of coffee. I have been disappointed in the past with coffee makers that didn’t heat the water as hot.. I love a HOT cup of coffee. I can make a pot or individual serving with that same heat. This unit does not disappoint. I have recommended it to my sister and friends.

This is a really good full size 4 in 1 coffee maker. I love having a full-size carafe along with the option to use K cups or Nespresso pods. I’m actually on my second machine, but with Cuisinarts three year warranty I was able to get a replacement. One of the challenges I had with an earlier version was that the milk wand was difficult to use. They have made improvements on their latest model the SS – 4N1 to the milk wand, it’s now much easier to maneuver and provides vertical tilt instead of just lateral. I would recommend this coffee maker for people who want to have the convenience of one machine that can do everything for their coffee needs. It’s a great option instead of having multiple machines and devices, you have everything in one location and one device.

I've used a Bunn coffeemaker for years and a Keurig for pods. The Keurig recently quit working and I was ready for a multi use coffeemaker. The Coffee Center Barista Bar 4-in-1 Coffeemaker was my choice. I'm pleased with the flexibility and performance. I received it as a Christmas gift.

I initially purchased this 4-in-1 coffee maker to learn how to make my favorite coffee chain drinks. It's easy to use, functions very well, and is simple to clean. The only issue that I've found is sometimes the espresso pod gets stuck but with a little effort it comes right out.

The removable water tank for single serve is huge and doesn’t need refilled often if using for espresso. The filter in each tank is a huge step up from our past machine. The flavor through all 3 options is a shocking step up as well. The 12 cup portion operates as any coffee maker should and is very easy to use. The single-use side is great. As some one who likes variety when it comes to coffee, this machine allows for so much variability and can satisfy a crowd. The single-serve side only takes 1-2 minutes per cup at most and the 12-cup side takes about 10 minutes. The only thing that could make it better is if you could use both sides at once, but understandably you cannot. The hot water/frother is an excellent addition as well. After a light wipe down and running the setup cycles there’s no machine taste or anything weird, just great coffee. The good reusable filter makes great coffee and the self-clean feature couldn’t be simpler. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good coffee maker whether they need the single-serve side or not.

We like it just fine. It does what it’s supposed to do and was a good price since the S.S. version was less expensive ($100.00!) than the all Black version! Go figure! We have used the milk former thingy yet, but like the ability to make a pot of coffee for guests and have them do a different , single pod coffee cup, if they like. It also allows you to use a reusable coffee pod mesh filter, instead, so as to reduce plastic consumption.

Timed full pot of coffee, k-pod, hot water at simple knob with frothing feature and espresso. I can't ask for more. The only flaw is water pouring at back to refill is not easy-to-use. The lid doesn't open wide enough so water will not spill to backside of the coffee maker.

Easy to use. I had my own refillable pods from the Cuisanart coffeemaker before this one, otherwise you have to buy them, which is lame considering the price. I thought the espresso pod feature also meant refillable pods, but its not, it’s a single pod/disposable pod, which is wasteful, so I will just use my on-stove espresso pot unless I can find an aftermarket Nespresso style refillable pods to buy.
