The removable water tank for single serve is huge and doesn’t need refilled often if using for espresso. The filter in each tank is a huge step up from our past machine. The flavor through all 3 options is a shocking step up as well. The 12 cup portion operates as any coffee maker should and is very easy to use. The single-use side is great. As some one who likes variety when it comes to coffee, this machine allows for so much variability and can satisfy a crowd. The single-serve side only takes 1-2 minutes per cup at most and the 12-cup side takes about 10 minutes. The only thing that could make it better is if you could use both sides at once, but understandably you cannot. The hot water/frother is an excellent addition as well. After a light wipe down and running the setup cycles there’s no machine taste or anything weird, just great coffee. The good reusable filter makes great coffee and the self-clean feature couldn’t be simpler. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good coffee maker whether they need the single-serve side or not.

So far, the machine has been good to use! being the 4 in 1, i thought the 4th feature was a coffee grinder, but it is the wand for milk frothing. not a big deal. i didn't realize how large the machine is. it takes up a lot of counter space. the other issue we found was with the filter to the water tank for the single serve side of the machine - the kcups and the nespresso pods. we made coffee suing a kcup no problem. but when we tried to the nespresso function. the machine whirled as if it was working, and nothing. super stressed out, i went on youtube, and found that the filter actually covers the area of the water tank where the water flows out, and restricts the water flow. makes sense in theory, but in practice, this was engineered poorly. in removing the filter, we were up and running without issue. The drip coffee side has its own water tank and water filter. there was no issue using that side. i realy like how futuristic the controls are. there was a bit of a learning curve, but easy to learn and run. i found some kcups on clearance and have been enjoying my daily coffee with this machine for over a month now and it works perfectly every time.

Cuisinart 4 in 1 coffee system is a fantastic product for the price. It's gives you many options from pot of coffee, single pod, espresso pod as well as a good frother for those tasty lattes. Their warranty is also awesome as we just recently had to process a warranty on our machine and they expedited a new warrantied replacement. I would highly recommend Cuisinart 4 in 1 coffee station

LOVE THE CONVENIENCE OF HAVING A SIDE BY SIDE OPTION FOR MAKING COFFEE. THE HOT WATER AND STEAM WAND ADD TO MY OPTIONS. HAVE NOT TRIED THE ESPPRESSO POD FEATURE, BUT I DON'T THNIK I WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. CUISINART HAS ALWAYS MADE THE BEST COFFEE FOR ME.

This coffee machine is very easy to use. We needed a machine with the ability to use k-cups and other coffee pods. The steamer is nice. I also like that the hot water comes out of the steamer wand so it does not get exposed to coffee. In other models, we avoided making tea with the hot water from the machine because it inevitably tasked like coffee. It is a larger machine so beware if you are putting it on a counter where it will have cabinets above it. We only have countertops with cabinets above and we have to pull the machine out to make the coffee and tuck it back against the wall when we are done. Not a real problem, but if space is an issue in your kitchen then take note.

So far this coffee maker has been quite the learning curve. The set up is wonderful, but I cannot figure out where the second folder actually belongs. Finally noted a vague picture of. It's sitting in the second reservoir, but there's no actual spot for it to adhere to. Also, I have struggled surfing the Internet to find out how you can keep the carafe on warm or add warm to a previously brewed pot. This is a big deal to me as I make multiple pots some days. Hope I can iron these little problems out talking with Cuisinart. The coffee taste wonderful and I'm enjoying the steamer and hot water aspect of this appliance. Have had a Keurig coffee maker for the past five years and have had some issues with it, but overall it was easier to get started. Hopefully I will be able to write another review after using this appliance longer.

After reading a lot of poor reviews, I decided to purchase it anyways. My findings are as follows: I find the controls easy to use. I have not found coffee grounds in my coffee as some reviews have indicated. I have not found coffee missing or squirting outside the cup as other reviews have found. The only negative that I have found after using this pot for about a month now is it is very difficult to pour water into the reservoir for the coffee maker using the pot without it spilling all over. My solution and it is not perfect, but I've been using a measuring cup, it's less messy. Otherwise, I would give it a five star.

I would have rated the Cuisinart a 4.5 (out of five) but I could only use whole numbers. It's a great coffee maker, certainly an improvement from my earlier Cuisinart coffee maker. I love the feature of steaming my milk and the convenience of using coffee pods when I am lazy. Add the espresso maker feature and I am almost putting Starbucks out of business :o) The reason I didn't give the coffee make a perfect score was the water fill level indicator. Making six cups (which I usually do each morning) gets a little tricky. I can clearly see the water fill to levels 2 thru 4 but getting to level six (cups) requires I keep my eye on the fill line least I might over fill my mark and delude the strength of my coffee. Beyond level six to ten is easy to see and stop. Not a game changer but certainly something the design team can improve upon in version 2.0. Cheers!

I needed to replace my drip coffee maker and my Nespresso single-serve machine. This Barista Bar does that by offering a drip option, an espresso pod option, and a K-Cup option. All are easy to use, plus the integrated steam option allows for the heating of milk and preparation of froth on demand. I highly recommend it.

I really like the ability this machine has to produce great coffee, with three distinct methods. I haven't used the frother yet, but I like the hot water swinging pipe for tea. Overall, a great level of coffee possibilities in a singular well designed machine.
