Cuisinart makes great long lasting products. My Barista works great except for one flaw. The water fill port is partially blocked by the lid when using the 12 cup coffee pot. I feel the lid on the coffee maker covering the fill should be half the size and should be hinged on the right side. This would promote speedier filling with less spillage.

We've been using a Keurig machine for about 10 years now but recently decided to go back to a regular coffee pot brewer that would also still have the option for brewing a single cup. We decided to give the Cuisinart Coffee Center 4-in-1 Coffeemaker a try as it also uses K-Cup pods and Nespresso Original Line capsules along with brewing a full pot of coffee. So far we're thrilled with the delicious brewed coffee and the option of up to 4 hours of the "keep warm" setting. As far as the K-cup option goes, it's as good as a Keurig. We've never used a Nespresso machine before so we have nothing to compare it to but so far the espresso is very good. When making mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, etc., it takes some practice when using the milk frother. We watched some online instruction videos on how to properly froth and steam milk, which we recommend highly, and the one thing we noticed in all the videos is the steaming wand does not have a tube covering the wand like this machine does and we believe it makes a difference in the frothing. We've been using the wand without the tube cover and it seems to work better. Also, with the tube cover on it makes it difficult to remove the frothing cup without having to pull the coffeemaker all the way to the edge of the counter. This is a bit of an incovenience. One reviewer said it bothered her so much she had her husband build a 3" high box to set her machine on for ease in removing the frothing cup from under the wand. However, if you're using the machine on a counter that has an upper cabinet above it, this would not be a good solution. Other than this slight flaw, we are loving this coffee maker and hope it continues to deliver great coffee and single cups for years to come!

Love love love my Coffee Center Barista Bar. I have wanted an espresso with steamer to make fancy cups of coffee but didnt want to give up my single pods that I have used for years. My husband loves a pot of coffee so when I found this 4 in 1 that does them all...I was excited! It has lived up to my expectations and more! It does so many things. I didnt have room for all 3 on my counters so this was perfect. LOVE IT!

Overall, we're very pleased with this coffee maker. Once you understand the two different systems (one for drip coffee and one for espresso) it's very easy to use. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the hot water function only produces water that's warm enough to make tea, but not hot. Also, I'm still struggling a bit with getting the foam right for lattes -- I try to follow the instructions in the user's manual, but I still get some big bubbles as the milk heats. This is likely to be my issue, and with practice I can say I'm getting much better at steaming the milk. We're definitely happy with this purchase.

The Barista Bar does everything I want it to. I have purchased a reusable pod and love making my morning one cup of coffee from my own fresh ground beans. The steamer/hot water works great and I've tired the espresso. Had to reread the directions, but I'm making friends.

I like the functionality of the coffee maker and it is very versatile. I do find that the various ways to make coffee do not get the liquids hot enough for me. Additionally, the coffee maker should come with any reusable pods that are known to work with this maker.

Like that it holds a lot of water in the reservoir and the 3 different ways to make coffee. BUT, the coffee from the K cup and Nespresso maker does not come out nearly hot enough. It is only about 158 F and literally cools off soon as it goes into a mug. You have to pre warm a cup if you want it to be hot. Also, the hot water maker barely comes out. It fills terribly slow. I just turn the knob to the K cup setting and use that without a K cup and it works great to make tea. Still barely above warm tea though. Also, it is ridiculously SLOW to make a Nespresso or K cup coffee. The Keurig is always ready and warm, this thing needs to heat it up first and then it gets going. Someone dropped the ball on this one. My Keurig made 192 F water and was great. If Keurig makes one with all these options of this 4 in 1 maker, I will definitely toss this one out and get one that makes HOT coffee. The carafe makes it hot enough though.

This is my third Barista Bar 4-in-1 coffeemaker as the first two jammed and the brew head would not open. I've also noticed that not all brands of Kcups work with the brewer as several just brew water and overflow into the brew head. The steamer works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it!! This product works perfect for our coffee preferences. My husband likes to have a pot of freshly brewed coffee in the morning while I prefer having an Americano cup using an expresso pod. On top of that it has the added bonus of being able to use a Keurig pod if I’m in the mood for a cup of flavored coffee.

Good product. Thankful that I read previous reviews about K-Cup issues. I push my K-cup down in the slot until it pops before closing the lid. This ensures that the K-Cup does not explode which has been an issue according to reviews. Unfortunately the single serve coffee does not come out hot, it is just warm. It really is frustrating when I need to add creamer. I am going to experiment with running a small espresso cup amount through and see if the next cup is hot.
