Looks nice…..sounds like a lion is brewing your coffee. After using an espresso pod, I switched to kcup to brew a cup. Every first 2 times I press brew only brown tinted water comes through. So I have to sacrifice a kcup pod every time I brew. Not too happy for how much this machine costs.

I love the flexibility of using grounds/kcups & capsules. However, the machine is slow to brew with Kcups and capsules. Frother takes some time to get ready. Espresso comes out not too hot and weak. Even when I use 11 intensity capsules. Still experimenting with this, but so far I do miss my Keurig smart maker!

I’ll start by saying I do love this coffee machine. It’s very easy to use. The water containers are really big so you don’t feel like you have to fill up the water a lot, even though we use it all the time. I love that you can do the K cups and the little espresso cups. I’m offended by how much trash they create so we got the reusable K cups, they work great. I haven’t found the same thing for the espresso cups. The only reason I gave the machine four instead of five is like some of the other reviews say the steam wand is a little difficult to use, it doesn’t come out very far so I had to set mine on the edge of the counter to where I can lower my cup rather than tilt it.

Seems to do everything it's advertised to do, and relatively easy to use. Wish the instruction manual was written a bit better, but a couple of Youtube videos helped with the shortcomings. If you're not planning to brew from raw expresso (like a pro) and want pods for espresso drinks plus regular drip coffee, this machine works great. Pretty well designed (aside from pouring water into the drip coffee area....too small and dark a space...like pouring into a dark cave opening). AND it's affordable!

We love this coffee maker. My wife and I immediately noticed how even the K Cups smell better when brewing and it shows up in the taste too. Much better than our old Keurig machine and it makes great pots of coffee from grounds. I highly recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Larger than my previous Cuisinart Coffee maker, after over 10 years, it was time to replace. This new 4-in-1 machine is very nice and versatile. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the user interface is not at all intuitive.

Perfect all around coffee maker/espresso machine. We came back from 3 weeks in Italy and I wanted to have the occasional espresso. Or kitchen has limited counter space so separate units were out of the question. The 4 in 1 works great for us! Easy setup and makes great coffee.

Best of all coffee worlds. Love having the option to brew a pot, a cup or a specialty brew. The frother/instant hot water wand is perfect for lattes or a cup of tea. Was using a machine that only made k-cups or nespresso pods and having the option to brew a pot is great for lazy weekends or when company is coming.

I've really enjoyed this coffee maker. Having two reservoirs is awesome. The expresso res in the back lasts a long time. The steam function works well, I just wish it was either mounted higher or had a slightly shorter stem as I have to tip my steam pitcher and it sometimes slops. It is quite convenient having k-pods as well as Nespresso pods. The controls were a little confusing and the instructions didn't help, but after about a week, I had it figured. Well worth the money.

My wife asked for this Cuisinart Barista Bar as a Christmas gift. We were using the Duo version of a popular brand that starts with the letter K. She wanted to be able to make espresso and Lattes. So most of my comments will be coming from comparison to the K brand device. First off, the Cuisinart has the ability to froth milk and utilize both the espresso pods and regular K-cup size pods. Cuisinart also has drip brewing utilizing #4 cone filters. The K brand uses flat bottom filter. So if you have stocked up on flat bottoms, they won't work, however with some creative paper bendind you can use them in a pinch. The machine itself is moderately well built (for home use) and looks nice. The coffee craft feels is sturdier than the K brand. It is about 4 inches taller than K brand so I pull it out from under the wall cabinet to fill it. The Cuisinart has two separate water compartments using one for the brewer and one for the pods and frother. They both top fill. I like this setup because I don't have to refill the reservoir after pot brewing in order to make pods later in the day. It hold nearly twice as much water as the K brand. Each reservoir has a separate filter built in. They are easy to access and replace through the top flaps where you fill the reservoirs. The brewer does as well as the K brand in respect to noise, time and brew flavor. The pod brewer however noticeably louber than the K brand. The instructions are pretty easy to follow and make sence. I recommend reading them because the brewing controls are separated from the pod and frother controls and it's not obvious. The only difficulty I had was understanding how the hot plate works. Apparently it turns on automatically after the brew and there is a separate button for programming how long it stays on (one to four hours). There is nothing mentioned about how to shut it off or how to turn only the hot plate back on if you need to warm longer. I discovered that hitting the on/off button twice will turn off the hot plate. No idea how to get it back on without brewing. The frother is used to make hot water and the dial has a hot water setting. The pod brewer will fit a tall travel cup under it. One can also use a reusable pod in it. Overall I'm happy with it. The Latte and espresso features are a nice plus and my wife likes it. Be sure to search for the unit on sale because you can get them at a much better cost.
