Cutting lst cut for bag saves time and bag but....2nd cut for seal wasted just as much bag as other models. Do not like fully automatic. Returned to dealer.

I bought this model after my initial basic model and I am pleasantly pleased with the ease of the role placement and vacuum/seal performance. I went through and sealed everything and anything possible. A must for anyone who likes to buy in bulk!

Great if you get a good one. Unfortunately I did not, and I know how to use it. The accessory hose did not alway vacuum and the motor is far too weak to function as it should.

I previously had the original Food Saver. I really like this model because it is much easier to use and seals better than the other one. Would recommend this to everyone.

This has been a true food saver, I used to throw so much away and couldn’t stand to eat things after they had been in my freezer due to freezer burn. I’ve been able to save so much money and lots of great food.

I have used a straw for YEARS to suck air out of plastic bags, but those days are over. I love the ease of making a bag & the pulse vac feature. My only complaint is that I did not receive the jar dealer.

It's been a few months and I really wanted this because of freezer burn on my meats and produce going bad. I'm in love with the machine....did you know it can save your carbonated drinks also.....

I bought this about 3 months ago and everytime I turn around I am finding something else that I can vacuum seal and save more money. Soup is the next on my list.

Have been using the FoodSaver products for several years now. It has saved us a lot of money. Our last one the drip tray was having an issue, so we decided to upgrade. But not really sure if we like the new one. We are still getting use to this one.
