A Better Mouse Trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Victor mouse trap is indeed a modern twist on an otherwise simple mechanism. Unlike mechanical traps that either use a spring or sticky pad, this trap uses electricity to shock the mouse. The device is able to connect to your home's wifi so you can receive alerts when a mouse is caught. In addition, there's a light that also lights up when a mouse is inside the box. The mechanism is set up such that a mouse that enters will trigger the electric charge and kill the mouse quickly. The box lid simply pops open so you can put in bait (cheese) and also dispose of the mouse's body. In addition, the trap requires 4 AA batteries (not included). All in all, this is a much fancier mouse trap that brings us to the modern era.

crazy, but it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I first noticed this product, I thought it sounded crazy. after trying it, I find it works well on the very few rodents I have ever had made life easier for pest control maintenance people who come to me every mo. on a contracted pest control basis. I would buy again when in future need.

zapped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i received my victor smart kill electronic mouse trap. you need to download the app on your phone which will alert you when you have zapped your mouse. you also need to have it set up close to your wifi signal.this wouldn't work out for me because my wifi is to far away from the area i would use it in. i don't think i would recommend this product to anyone as i wouldn't care to use it myself.

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up to my router and phone were super easy. We set it up and within 2 days we got a notification that there was a mouse in the trap on our phones. It was also very easy to clean after the mice were gone. I love that I get notifications on my phone and don't have to remember to check the trap. One thing I did not like about this was that it does give false notifications telling you it is full and to empty it and there is nothing in there. Other than that, it is a great product and I will continue to use in my basement to catch the mice.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely liking the concept of this. It was easy to setup and setup was pretty quick. I read the instructions so i already had my hair ready. It says in the instructions if setup is not finished in five minutes you have to start over but the trap connected to my WiFi easily. It required batteries which were easy to install as well as the bait. You have to download the app before you start to setup the trap. I think the trap is supposed to electrocute the mouse but I haven't had one to get in the trap yet and unlike other reviewers I haven't had any false kill notifications. It's easy to open the app and check to see what's going on with the trap. It even has the battery life displayed. It says you don't have to touch the dead mouse to dispose of it you just open the door and drop it in the trash which is a big plus for me because disposal is the part I hate the most.

Nice but "overkill"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mouse trap is very nice and has features. It seems to be well made. It has door to open making disposal easy. The features are a bit excessive though. It takes several batteries. I wish it had the option to plug it in. There is an app you have to install on your phone and it has to connect to your wifi to notify you if it caught a mouse. It will work without wifi, but it's hard to tell if there's anything in it just by looking at it. You have to have a newer phone to be able to install the app, which is a drawback. It will not work on my husband's Galaxy s4. A good mouse trap if you're techy. A terrible mouse trap if you hate technology.

High Tech Mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From an overall perspective, I'm excited to have this trap in my rodent arsenal. Knowing that I can easily place this trap and monitor it from my phone without having to go look in the trap every day is such a relief. I don't have to worry about seeing a smooshed mouse ever and can easily discard of it without ever having to actually see it. I have not had a mouse issue yet this year so I haven't put this device to action. I'm confident in its ability to operate as designed. The instructions are easy to follow and I don't feel like I will have any trouble getting it set and ready for use when the time comes. I like that my kids won't have to see it either. Makes this a great product!

SO COOL!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way this mouse trap works! I have always hated having to put out traps just ot have to look at the poor dead mice. It always grossed me out, but this mouse trap is so cool and easy to use! I love how it tells me when a mouse has been caught and the location of the trap - and all on my phone! What is more exciting is that I no longer have to remove the spring trap from the dead mouse neck to clear out the trap. All I have to do with this is just simply open it up and dump it! I am so impressed that it is so pet and kid friendly! And no more sore fingers trying to set those other nasty traps! I am going to buy several more for our garage as well as our house. Thank you for finally coming up with a trap this wonderful!

GOTCHA!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is an absolute must have for anyone dealing with unwanted furry little squeakers who forage through waste baskets & gnaw on electrical wires in the middle of the night leaving "gifts" from the night before to thank you for being a gracious host Here is the chance for retribution & a little pay back with this technological wonder. The Victor electronic smart kill mouse trap works with WIFI, how cool is that! It has an %100 kill rate & it makes for easy disposal, what's more, you don't have to see the remnants when you dispose of the unwanted vermin. The coolest part of all is that you get an alert on your smart device once the miscrient is has been taken care of. I would highly recommend this device to any & every one The end is humane for the cheese napper & the traps are reuseable

Self reporting mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really a cool idea. I really liked that it would notify you if you had a mouse in the trap. The wireless setup is a bit involved and can be confusing and frustrating but I got it all working. I am pretty rodent adverse so I take steps well in advance of winter to insure no little buddies are moving in. So I knew there were no mice in my house so I put the trap in my garden shed. The trap was there 72hrs with no results but it did report the battery life so I knew it was working. From there I moved it to my barn thinking surely it will find one there. Nope, I did too good of a prep job I guess no mice to catch. So I can't report on that aspect of it. But the wireless part really works well as best as I could determine.
