I read the reviews before ordering and picked up a few good tips-visit the manufacturers website and print off the instructions beforehand to get familiar with the assembly process-do not use a power tool to assemble and you won't strip the bolts (I think a couple of folks may have ignored that footnote). They provide enough parts to complete the project, no extras, so if you strip one out it could get frustrating. The footnotes they provide really help-read'em. I put this together in about 3.5 hours by myself using a ladder to support the frame as needed. The parts fit together well. Take a look at the slide and make sure the 3 attaching holes are drilled out-by the time you get to that step you really don't want to stop to do that ( especially if it's hot-ha!). The grandkids absolutely are having a blast on it and we all highly recommend this swing set!

We couldn't be happier with this swing set. It was $400 cheaper than on the manufactures website. Very sturdy. Very easy to set up. I would recommend 2 people during set up, but you could manage with 1. The instructions were extremely easy to follow and were set up in 3 sections. It took around 2 1/2 hrs. The only complaint was 2 of the washers didn't fit and I had to drill holes through the slide. My kids (and all the neighbors) can't stay off it :-). No cement required. We've had it for a week. So great for children's healthy activity!

I bought this for my 6 year son and 7 year old niece. They love it. Monkey bars are a perfect size for them now and to grow into. Swings are bigger than the other medal swings made for residential backyards. No need for anchors. I weigh 135 pounds and it didn't even budge. We wanted to get something that older kids would like and save on the cost of an wooden swing set as well. Easy to put together. Nuts and bolts were easy to install. All around study, well made . It took my husband and one other male about 3 hours to put together. Delivery took about a week to arrive. It all came in one package. Well worth the money.

You can tell some thought was put into the design. Entire thing put together in 3 hours with two Allen wrenches (provided) and a crescent wrench. Everything was well balanced with min rock. My kids love it.

Purchased this product for our grandkids and they LOVE IT! Assembly was easy but time consuming. Allow 3-4 hours. Hardware was all enclosed and worked perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this swing set for my 7 year old son, and he is so happy with his new set. Such quality equipment and I was able to assemble it by myself within 2 hours. Easy to follow assembly directions, plenty of the correct hardware and everything lined up perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the monkey bar adventure swing set. During asssembly, I broke a bolt for connecting the swing set to the ladder system. I called customer service and will be receiving the extra hardware in 3-5 days. Great service and highly recommend this company.

We bought this for our 7 yr. old and 4 yr. old. We wanted something that they would not outgrow and this is perfect. My husband and his friend were able to assemble it in a few hours with no issues. We love that it does not have to be cemented into the ground. We are also able to swing with the kids with no problem. My only complaint is that the green slide gets very hot in the sun. So hot that the kids cannot play on it, which is disappointing for the summer months. Because of that, I am only giving it 4 stars. Other than that, it's perfect!

The set is well built and the directions were easy to follow but the kit was missing one little piece, and one large piece came damaged. I emailed Lifetime about the missing piece and they immediately shipped me a replacement. The damaged piece (dented ladder in two places and painted over) I told them I wasn't too concerned with because I already had it assembled, but I certainly expected a response to. They didn't even mention it. A little disappointing considering how expensive this set was. All in all though, it's a great set, I just hope yours doesn't come with dents in it.
