- 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/26/2021I upgraded to the Ninja Foodi 8 quart after my 6.5 qt stopped working after 2 years. This is the best purchase ever! The 8 qt. is lighter in weight, cooks hotter and holds more food. I cook meals in this thing almost every day and cannot live without it.
Love my Ninja Foodi 8 qt
Deb - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/9/2022I really like the machine. It is what the description says it is. The bake cycle seems a little hotter than baking in my oven. I use the pressure cooker, crock pot and air fryer the most. I love dehydrated banana's in it. I haven't made any yogurt yet but looking forward to it. The machine is a bit heavy. I wish I had space to leave it on my counter all the time since we use it SO MUCH!
Great machine that can pressure and air fry
Nettie - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/21/2020Takes some getting used to, and a lot of Googling to find answers and basic recipes. Bake/Oven function works like a small oven. Saute/sear works like a nonstick pan on stove - except it's "deep" in the bottom of the pot. Can still "saute" (in oil or a touch of added water) mushrooms, onions, and the like. Can broil/bake steaks, or sear then bake, and clean up is much easier than oven or grill. We pressure cooked hard boiled eggs -- the provided recipe (4 min on hi pressure) is perfect -- EXCEPT it says fast release of pressure, which causes eggs to crack -- need to do slower release to keep shells intact. (That's the experimentation part.) Have yet to use the "crock pot"-like function (slow cook with pressure lid with pressure valve...
Fancy gadget. Whole kitchen in one gizmo.
rags2rags - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/21/2021This thing is great! The sauté feature is much better than Instant Pot's. It gets hotter, faster, and the wider, non-stick pot is easier to work with. Non-stick is a great feature and makes is a breeze to clean. The air fry function works better than our dedicated Ninja two basket air fryer. It just gets things crisper faster. I would highly recommend. It's an all around workhorse. You will use it so much you won't need to worry about where to store it.
Move over Instant Pot.
brandy - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/16/2021Ninja foodie is a good product. Its handy as an all in one pot. I dont feel it saves alot of time but the air fryer is handy getting things cooked w/o adding lots of oil although some is required if you want browned and crispy and you cant fill it to the top w wings for example since you need the sir to flow around the meat to cook evenly. The pressure cooker side is handy to thaw out meat but the time it takes to built up pressure before the short pressure cook thaw time and after to depressurize adds up in reality(another8-12 min). Sure it cooks bacon but only a few pcs at a time. The slow cooker cooks like a slow cooker. I havent tried the dehydrator but again the amt of space makes it impractical in the time it takes. Dont get me wron...
Its not magic
Georgie - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/6/2021This deluxe Ninja foodi is perfect for large families. Youʻll never need a stove or oven after using this. This does not heat up your house like an oven does. Cooking dinner, after a long day at work, is so fast. I love dehydrating bananas and pineapple in the evening and they are ready for breakfast or snacks the next day.
Perfect for small kitchens
Maile - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/12/2021If you’re looking for an appliance that literally does everything this is exactly what you want! I have been able to ditch the instapot, crockpot, and air fryer. I have a small kitchen with no space for things so this has been a game changer for me!
LOVE
D Michael - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/31/2022The build quality is great. I wish you could mute or get rid of the beeping noises when starting. I have a few brands on my forearms from touching the hot edge while retrieving the food.
Hot edges
Stu - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/10/2020I needed a larger instapot, so after some research I found this one that also doubled as an air fryer and other things. Super easy to use and it saves space not having to have multiple appliances. Just the one that can do it all. I love it!
Perfect All-in-One
- 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/7/2021Just love this Ninja! I’ve had one for about a year and decided I couldn’t live without it. Last week I decided to purchase one for my winter home in Florida. It’s very versatile. My husband experiments with different recipes. I love boiled eggs, but have a hard time with the timing. I can boil eggs perfectly. We use it multiple times during the week— cook chicken strips and breasts. We don’t eat very much beef so I can’t attest to beef cooking. I use online hints and don’t feel the need to purchase a book. It is a large unit and takes up a lot of room on our cabinets. We have a cart though that we can use to move it out of the way. Just love this machine!
Love it, love it, love it!!
Sharon50 - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/29/2021Great setup, pressure cooker and air fry feature work as advertised. Simple to setup and use for each function. I've used just about every feature except for yogurt making - really, who wants to make their own yogurt? In any case, this is an all-around good value and something my family uses 2-3 times a week.
If you want a multi-cooker - this is a good deal!
JPL - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/25/2021I gave my smaller foodie to my son to take to college and got the larger one for myself. I sing the praises of the foodie as a timesaver for cooking and cleaning. I bought one for my daughter as well and she loves it and eats healthier because it is so convenient to make delicious healthy meals. Love love love it
Love the foodie
Lrm - 2 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/7/2021I broke my air fryer so I thought I would get this a shot as it was on sale and do highly rated. Unfortunately I just wasn't impressed. I made beef stroganoff on the stove and pressure cooked and the stove version was finished much faster! So what is the point? I also tried the air fryer function and the basket is tiny! If you have a family this would not work for you. Secondly, the air fryer is not great. It seems secondary to the pressure cooking. It just took forever to get things crispy and even then not as crispy as my old air fryer! I tried mozzarella sticks, egg rolls, and chicken wings. For 9 chicken wings it took almost 30 mins to get them anywhere near the crispy texture you would want. In comparison my old air fryer would have ha...

But the Ninja foodi is soooo much better.I have cooked so much in it in a week.I must say it is the best purchase I absolutely love it. Would I recommend it? Absolutely YES
Ninja foodi the best
Jen - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/12/2022I already have this dryer and use it very often. I love the versatility of this particular Ninja. I have it as birthday gift and my sister loves it as well. I would have bought it while on sale and kept it for myself just in case something happen to the one I have but it made the perfect gift for her. I’ve had mine for going on 2 years and have never had any issues. It’s the one small appliance I do count on using at least 3-4 times per week. I highly recommend the Ninja Air Fryer.
The best air fryer in my opinion!
Deb - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/10/2021Phenomenal machine. While visiting my sister, I had the opportunity to use her Ninja and was instantly hooked. Ordered my own when Sams offered $40 off. I received it about a week ago and have used the grill and air fry mode, I have yet to try pressure cooking mode, but will soon.
Tried this at my sisters, was hooked!
Munta - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/2/2021This was a "house warming" gift for my granddaughter who has a full time job while attending graduate school full time. I purchased this gift because I have a unit like it and appreciate that it does a fantastic job in cooking food in the minimum amount of time. Being that she is in a similar situation, it was only logical that I purchase this type of gift.
Gift Quite Appreciated
dlj - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/26/2020I never knew I needed one of these until I bought one as a Christmas gift for someone else. When I saw all it could do, I bought one for myself. These things are awesome. 2 weeks later and I’m still discovering cooking methods I didn’t know existed. The air fryer makes evenly cooked perfectly crisp fries that are so more tasty than oven fries(with the baking sheet side that’s always soggier than the rest)
Most diverse & functional kitchen appliance we own
Beachguysc - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/4/2021What a fantastic cooking aid! This is a later model for me. I love the 9 plus features of Ninja Foodi. This one has one new function. Everything else looks to be the same. I wish they had improved on how to clean some of the cooking elements. But the reduced price at Sam's gave me the incentive to upgrade. It is an amazing cooking gadget to own. Just make sure you have strong upper body strength. IT is HEAVY!
My 2nd one
Kee - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/26/2021I wasn't sure about this at first. It's quite daunting. I've watched so many YouTube videos on air frying and pressure cooking, but it's still a lot to take in. So, before I even took it out of the box, I read the instructions and the cookbook that comes with it. I gathered some ingredients. I couldn't decide if I should go small and start with sweet potato fries or go for the gusto and do the whole chicken. After much debate, I went for the chicken! I followed the recipe (which btw, is different from the quick guide and the cookbook by 15 minutes!) I want to share with you something very important that is the fault of the Ninja Foodie people. For those of you who are BRAND NEW to this kind of appliance, you must have at least one cup of li...
