Love my Ninja Foodi 8 qt

I upgraded to the Ninja Foodi 8 quart after my 6.5 qt stopped working after 2 years. This is the best purchase ever! The 8 qt. is lighter in weight, cooks hotter and holds more food. I cook meals in this thing almost every day and cannot live without it.

Move over Instant Pot.

This thing is great! The sauté feature is much better than Instant Pot's. It gets hotter, faster, and the wider, non-stick pot is easier to work with. Non-stick is a great feature and makes is a breeze to clean. The air fry function works better than our dedicated Ninja two basket air fryer. It just gets things crisper faster. I would highly recommend. It's an all around workhorse. You will use it so much you won't need to worry about where to store it.

Great machine that can pressure and air fry

I really like the machine. It is what the description says it is. The bake cycle seems a little hotter than baking in my oven. I use the pressure cooker, crock pot and air fryer the most. I love dehydrated banana's in it. I haven't made any yogurt yet but looking forward to it. The machine is a bit heavy. I wish I had space to leave it on my counter all the time since we use it SO MUCH!

Perfect for small kitchens

This deluxe Ninja foodi is perfect for large families. Youʻll never need a stove or oven after using this. This does not heat up your house like an oven does. Cooking dinner, after a long day at work, is so fast. I love dehydrating bananas and pineapple in the evening and they are ready for breakfast or snacks the next day.

Perfect All-in-One

I needed a larger instapot, so after some research I found this one that also doubled as an air fryer and other things. Super easy to use and it saves space not having to have multiple appliances. Just the one that can do it all. I love it!

LOVE

If you’re looking for an appliance that literally does everything this is exactly what you want! I have been able to ditch the instapot, crockpot, and air fryer. I have a small kitchen with no space for things so this has been a game changer for me!

Love it, love it, love it!!

Just love this Ninja! I’ve had one for about a year and decided I couldn’t live without it. Last week I decided to purchase one for my winter home in Florida. It’s very versatile. My husband experiments with different recipes. I love boiled eggs, but have a hard time with the timing. I can boil eggs perfectly. We use it multiple times during the week— cook chicken strips and breasts. We don’t eat very much beef so I can’t attest to beef cooking. I use online hints and don’t feel the need to purchase a book. It is a large unit and takes up a lot of room on our cabinets. We have a cart though that we can use to move it out of the way. Just love this machine!

Fancy gadget. Whole kitchen in one gizmo.

Takes some getting used to, and a lot of Googling to find answers and basic recipes. Bake/Oven function works like a small oven. Saute/sear works like a nonstick pan on stove - except it's "deep" in the bottom of the pot. Can still "saute" (in oil or a touch of added water) mushrooms, onions, and the like. Can broil/bake steaks, or sear then bake, and clean up is much easier than oven or grill. We pressure cooked hard boiled eggs -- the provided recipe (4 min on hi pressure) is perfect -- EXCEPT it says fast release of pressure, which causes eggs to crack -- need to do slower release to keep shells intact. (That's the experimentation part.) Have yet to use the "crock pot"-like function (slow cook with pressure lid with pressure valve open), but should work like a crock pot. Cleaning the wire racks is like cleaning any wire racks, but the air fryer basket and nonstick pot are really nonstick on usual foods (chicken and beef drippings, for example) and really to clean. The price of having such power at one's fingertips is some complexity, but after a few uses the gadget starts making more sense. Less cleanup than an oven, less cleanup than stovetop, will probably end up replacing our George Foreman grill (hamburgers, steaks), oven (chicken thighs/legs/breasts, roasts), stovetop (eg, sauteed mushrooms, "fried" eggs), hard-boiled egg maker (pressure instead - not limited to 6 at a time), and crock pot (stews, chicken/rice/barley/quinoa soup...).

Hot edges

The build quality is great. I wish you could mute or get rid of the beeping noises when starting. I have a few brands on my forearms from touching the hot edge while retrieving the food.

Its not magic

Ninja foodie is a good product. Its handy as an all in one pot. I dont feel it saves alot of time but the air fryer is handy getting things cooked w/o adding lots of oil although some is required if you want browned and crispy and you cant fill it to the top w wings for example since you need the sir to flow around the meat to cook evenly. The pressure cooker side is handy to thaw out meat but the time it takes to built up pressure before the short pressure cook thaw time and after to depressurize adds up in reality(another8-12 min). Sure it cooks bacon but only a few pcs at a time. The slow cooker cooks like a slow cooker. I havent tried the dehydrator but again the amt of space makes it impractical in the time it takes. Dont get me wrong I bought 3 Ninja Foodie 1 med and 2 XL and they are being used. Its good for a family of 2-3 maybe 4 in some instances but for soup or rice or crockpot recipes you can fill the pot to feed more and walk away
