So far, so good!

So far we have been very happy with our Vitamix purchase. We have mainly used it for smoothies, but it really blends everything together so well, and clean-up is really easy. I had been resisting buying a Vitamix for a long time because they are quite pricey. Prior to getting our Vitamix, we had been using some of the bullet type blenders to make smoothies, but they didn't last, and often had problems. It seemed that we were replacing those bullet blenders rather frequently. I finally had enough of going through cheaper blenders and decided to purchase a Vitamix. When we selected our Vitamix, we chose one with a 10 year warranty. I figured that I'd spend about the same amount as the Vitamix going through bullet type blenders over the next 10 years, so it made the expense of the Vitamix a bit easier to take. So far, I have no regrets about making this investment. I'm hoping that it will be more than 10 years before I have to buy a new blender. If I have one criticism about the blender so far, it would be that the fluid ounce markings and corresponding lines on the blender are very hard to read/see. It makes measuring ingredients directly in the blender a little bit difficult, and I have to use a separate measuring cup to make sure I'm getting the correct amount of an ingredient.

Awesome machine, does what its supposed to do

We love it, this was the first time we bought this blender. Debating over other brands, finally after reading the reviews, bought this. Very easy to use, easy to wash and easy to handle. I should not complain but we felt its bit loud while running, maybe its normal for this powerful motor.

Poor model - do not buy

I am considering returning this. I’ve used vitamix for fifteen years but this blender doesn’t crush my ice unless I put it in already crushed. Frozen fruit had to be individually broken up and then I still get chunks. Even if I blend on smoothie setting three times. The stomper doesn’t go down far enough so it won’t push food into the blade. I’ve reached out to customer service about returning snd haven’t heard back. Have not been impressed to say the least.

Vita Mix A2500

I really love my Vita Mix. The first thing I did to test it out was to make almond flour and rice flour. I'm very pleased. I purchased my first Vita Mix which was all stainless steel more than 40 years ago, took it to a party about 20 years ago to make margaritas and haven't seen it since. I'm extremely happy to see the improvements that have been made since I purchased my first one. This one will never be left out of my sight.

Its Ok

I bought my Vitamix 2 months ago. So far it works, but I'm not that impressed in relation to the price. You pay alot for these blenders and they can be frigidity especially if you buy the blender cups. Overall it works fine. Not too sure its worth the price. Good quality though.

Great

Powerful and works well. I have become reliant on this machine for my daily meal routine and use it multiple times per day. The wider canister is less efficient for blending smaller batches. Unfortunately, the motor is not quieter than past ones - which would have been ideal. But, please don’t let the suggested improvements dissuade you - it’s an incredible blender.

Works well, easy clean up.

It works very well. Although, my husband decided to grind coffee beans in ours and now the canister is scratched; it's still brand new and I feel like it's already "ruined". I wish we had gone with a different series as now we feel we would have liked the touch-screen controls better but, without being able to see them in person, it's a guessing game. All-in-all, it does a nice job and we love the easy clean-up.

As Advertised

I got my Vitamix for Christmas as a key component of my new Plant Paradox diet. I am glad I got it! My smoothies are super easy to make thanks to the smoothie dial setting. I throw everything in then, voila. Same goes for soup and the soup setting. Totally works as advertised and heats the soup. Extremely happy so far.

A2500 over A2300

There is no comparison. This blender is amazing. I used to own a Kitchen Aid blender. I originally purchased the A2300 but exchanged it for the A2500. I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon, too. At first I thought I would save money and just use the bluetooth smoothie preset on my phone app, which does work great. However, every time I left my phone in another room, it was a pain. I do realize this is a sign of tremendous privilege, but it was worth the upgrade. Soups also come out smoother than ever.

I'm not convinced

I'm not convinced the new sensor technology on the A2500 is better than past models. This review is from someone who owned an old model of a Vitamin for 10 years. I loved my old Vitamix, and the new one is OK, but something about it doesn't seem as reliable. The new base is made of plastic and my old one was a sturdier stainless steel. The old one worked 100% of the time, but the new one is finicky when sensing the container and won't always run which is frustrating. My old Vitamin was a beast that handled almost daily usage, but I will be shocked if the new one lasts 10 years.
