Quit working within 9 months

I’ve owned this for 9 months and the single side refuses to work. It keeps throwing E07 code. I’ve wiped the back and the water reservoir several times and tried to run vinegar thru it. It only runs about 1 tablespoon thru then steam for a couple seconds then the code when it stops. Nothing is damaged. It appears there is a bad sensor. This is a common issue according to what I find online. Taking it back to Sam’s Club. For the money paid it should last longer than 9 months.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Cuisinart 2‑in‑1 Coffeemaker, and we’re sorry to hear about the E07 error you encountered on the single‑serve side. This code can sometimes appear if the system detects a flow or sensor interruption, so in addition to descaling, we recommend ensuring the water reservoir is fully seated, the piercing needle area is clear of debris, and the unit is allowed to cool and reset by unplugging it briefly between attempts. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference ticket #8900625403so we can further troubleshoot and review available options with you. Thank you for your feedback—it’s truly appreciated and helps us improve reliability and features in future models.

Amazing 2 in 1 Coffee Maker

Don’t hesitate buying this 2 in 1 coffee maker. We were a little hesitant after looking at some of the reviews, but the updated model works great. I love using flavored K-cups and my husband likes fresh brewed, but our favorite thing is that he can just brew one cup in the carafe instead of doing 8 10 or 12. It’s more stylish, sleek and modern than the Keurig Duo. We are extremely happy with our purchase and the shipping was super quick.

Disappointment

Getting ready to return it. Used it over the holiday. If your regular size coffee cup is slightly higher (different coffee cups) then you can’t brew the single cup on the top shelf and have to use the one on the bottom. Disappointment. In regard's to the carafe, two pots overflowed with ground coffee and I only used 7 spoons. The pot had only been used 2 times. What a mess. Seems flimsy.

first time Cuisinart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had. to start watching Keurig when using the pods as it was dispensing more water than the cup could hold. I decided to look at another brand. I chose the Cuisinart 2 in 1. Works great. I really like the lid on the pot as it does not leak when pouring like the Keurig would do at times.

Very nice 2 in one coffee maker

Love everything about the coffee maker except a couple of minor things. I don't like that the beep when the coffee is done can't be shut off. Also the carafe is very difficult to pour when it is full without spilling. You have to pour is very very slowly. I have had about 4 of these coffee pots and the carafe has never changed .

Coffee center 2 in 1

Great product that performs as expected for the price. Only negative I have is that the single cup function needs a statement in the instructions that you need to run a 4oz alone with no k cup to get the air out of the line before running a full 8, 10, or 12oz or the coffee grinds will be blown out the top.

Hoping for the best

Inconsistent fill amount on single serve side. We have had 4 units due to pods exploding. Makes a mess. Bottom needle needs a larger opening so it doesn't.t clog and explode. Cuisinart has been great about replacing the units at no charge but it would be nice to have a trouble free coffee maker.

Better than Keurig

I've had 3-4 Keurig's before this Cuisinart and wish I had bought the Cuisinart years ago. This coffee maker is great. The single cup lets you choose 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 oz while the coffee carafe side allows for making ice coffee (although that just means you put ice in the carafe and then choose how many cups of coffee you want to drip into the ice). Well worth the cost!

Hello Quality Control! Where are you???

This was my third Cuisinart 2 in 1 model. My original model lasted for about 2 years & I loved it. Unfortunately the pod side stopped working & I picked up a new one. Unfortunately that one only lasted less than two months before it started leaking from the bottom then I purchased a new one & that started to leak the second time I used it. So disappointed in their quality. From what I read online it seems like leaking is a known issue, this is a problem, someone even wrote that a part was put it upside down? (oh I even tried to just rationalize it and say it must’ve just been because it was an older model, but it wasn’t.) Totally disappointed and frustrated - finally gave up and bought a Keurig. It’s been about three months with no issues. Unfortunately it only does K cups and I really liked being able to make a pot of coffee when we had company. Cuisinart get it together & maybe in a couple years, I’ll try again.

Upgrade

It’s easy to use. The instructions are fairly clear and simple. I love the duality of a single cup or full pot option. That was what I was missing in my kitchen. I upgraded from a keurig when I needed a pot for a group. I like grinding my own coffee with the option of using it in either mode. It’s cumbersome to do that with more than one cup at a time as in the keurig. The only think I wish that it did was grind the beans too. Otherwise I think it’s a great maker.
