It nice to have both options, and it safes counter space. The carafe side works fine - it works similar to the the older model that I had....The pod side is a little bit more finicky...Initially, I had trouble with it punching a good hole...but I discovered that there were protective rubber cover on the pins. Once I removed the protective cover, it worked fine (the manual doesn't indicate the rubber should be removed). When you place the reservoir back after filling, it needs to be perfectly aligned, or it doesn't work. I also wish the reservoir was larger...but I guess the reservoir size was sacrifice in order to combine it. So far, I would buy this product again

Not hot enough just warm when done

I like this coffee device but give it a 4 star only . The coffee isn’t hot enough when done just warm . and i need to put it in the microwave to heat. Not boiling hot but reasonably hot as coffee should be drunk . So there is where my disappointment lies .

Love the dual function!

We bought the Coffee Center 2-in-1 Coffeemaker after a recent visit to my sisters home. I told her that we just had to finally replace our old Cuisinart 12 cup programable coffee maker after it developed an internal leak after many years of service. We purchased a new Cuisinart 12 cup "stainless steel" programable coffee maker and were soon disappointed with the machine. First of all unlike our old machine it was almost entirely made of plastic and felt like it was low quality. Additionally the carafe did not pour correctly and often we would end up with water (while filling) or coffee (while pouring) if it poured too fast on the counter top. Liquid would spill over the sides of the spout. Within a couple of months we decided to replace the new 12 cup with the 2-in-1 machine. We have been presently surprised and enjoy programing as well as the K cup feature. Cuisinart has been redeemed in my opinion. Now I just need to decide what to do with the "new" 12-cup machine that caused much disappointment!

Disappointed

I was so excited to receive this coffee maker, I had been looking for awhile for a stylish 2 in 1 coffee maker. The first one came and we started using it right away, loved it! Pot of coffee brewed so fast and was hot! The disappointment came when I had company and they wanted tea. I went to make them a cup on the pod side and it didn't work. No lights lit up, I tried all the troubleshooting tips and yet nothing. So I returned it. They would not send a replacement until they received the returned one so I went a week with no coffee maker. Second one came and I immediately did a test run only to find the pod side did not work just like the last one. I couldnt believe it, being the name Cuisinart always stood for quality. I chose not to get another replacement, obviously there is a problem with this model and it's too expensive to risk having another work for a month then break as William and Sonoma only gives you 30 days on returns. Its been over a month since i ordered the 1st one, still no coffee maker or refund yet.

Reliable brand, but a few misses

I always trust the Cuisinart brand for kitchen appliances. We've had several Cuisinart coffeemakers and this is a replacement of a model that brews both k-cup and 12-cup carafe. This one adds an option for ice coffee, which we haven't used yet. Frankly, I wish we could ditch the need for k-cup, but our household includes both full-caf and decaf drinkers. Pros: nice looking; small footprint for what it offers; strong brew option; trusted brand; includes charcoal and gold tone filters. Cons: k-cup side needs to brew at higher temp; carafe can leak while pouring; when carafe is on the warming plate, it's too easy to accidentally turn off warming plate to brew a k-cup (I've searched online for support to address this with no luck).

Great machine, with one little glitch

I have been waiting to write my review because of a small issue. I wanted to see if it was a fluke. I bought my 2 in 1 coffee maker one month ago. I absolutely love the look of it, and how quickly it brews! Also love how hot the coffee is! My one concern is when we brew on the auto setting, once the coffee brews the clean light goes on, so the coffee in the pot doesn’t stay hot. Trying to troubleshoot this weekend. Hopefully it’s an easy fix!

Quit working within 9 months

I’ve owned this for 9 months and the single side refuses to work. It keeps throwing E07 code. I’ve wiped the back and the water reservoir several times and tried to run vinegar thru it. It only runs about 1 tablespoon thru then steam for a couple seconds then the code when it stops. Nothing is damaged. It appears there is a bad sensor. This is a common issue according to what I find online. Taking it back to Sam’s Club. For the money paid it should last longer than 9 months.

Single serve needs help

The carafe is great! I like that I can choose to go bold and the heat level for the warmer. However the single serve doesn't get hot enough for me. It will brew the single cup hot but the cup does not stay hot for long even when I warm my cup. If you like to have a leisurely cup of coffee, use the carafe.
