I bought this approximately 2 months ago. I live in Bath PA. Our patio gets sun from early morning to evening. The pergola does its job. This was thousands cheaper then other places. All of my neighbors love it. I took my time and stained it with 2 coats before I put it together. Once all the parts were together, my brother in law and neighbor help me put up the large stuff. We were finished within 3 hours. FOLLOW the instructions and its easy. Can't say enough about how well engineered this is. I wish this place sold a water proof cover for it.

Yes Quality: 5 out of 5 Value: 5 out of 5 My wife wanted a pergola to shade our bedroom and we finally found one that worked for us. I surprised her by putting up in and 2 days by myself while she was out of town.

I purchased the 16x12 May of 2022 with the hopes of getting it up by July for a large family gathering and overall better backyard aesthetic. Things did not go as planned. The four boxes it arrived in sat on the side of my house until September 2nd 2023. I fully expected there to be rot and all kinds of damage since I live in the PNW with lots of moisture. There was a few areas of cardboard rotting to the wood but nothing I wont be able to resolve. (See pictures) It took 2 people (1 being an experienced carpenter) 6 hours to get it unboxed, sorted and assembled. The instructions are VERY CLEAR & everything is numbered. For me, it’s perfect. I absolutely love it. The carpenter assembling it for me was not loving that the roof sections are divided into 3 pieces instead of being one solid long piece.….. but that’s the drawback I suppose for something being shipped and prefabricated. Those details that a woodworker would see are things I don’t care about. A local company makes the exact prefabricated pergola delivered (all solid sections) for triple the cost. No thanks lol I’ll take this one instead!

Seems like everyone in the neighborhood was putting up Peroglas, but I wanted one that was beautiful, well built, and easy to assemble. I couldn’t be happier, since putting it up, we gotten numerous compliments. The wood is high quality and the engineering is near perfect. Much better than those big box products.

Purchased several months ago and finally had the time to assemble. I hired help and it went up easily and quickly. It took 2 guys about 5 hours to assemble. It helped to have all the parts laid out. I love and plan to put shade cloth over the top for extra shade in the summer.

This will be the second summer we have used this pergola. I am still pleased with it. I followed others advice and treated the wood with spar urethane before assembly. It would be easier to assemble with a couple adults. However, I was able to put it up with a little help from my 11 year old daughter. When the Oklahoma heat ramps up, I put a shade cloth over it to provide more shade. Over all I am very pleased with the pergola.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t be happier with my pergola! Shipping was easy, came in 3 boxes and very well packaged. Directions were easy to follow, I recommend 3 people to assemble. Took us about 3 to 4 hrs to complete, hardware included was excellent quality and cedar boards went together perfectly. I’ve added louvers to my pergola for extra shade, looks amazing. Thank you backyard discovery!

Handyman and myself put it together in 13 hours over two days. Wife thinks it’s great. Pieces were well marked and the bags of hardware were also well marked. The only thing missing were two pilot holes but extremely minor point. Well pleased with the product.

We built the pergola and it is sturdy a beautiful. It's no ones fault but my own but it isn't as big as I was wanting, it measures from the widest spot which isn't the post. It also didn't give me as much shade as I was hoping for. I added a sun shade to the top and curtains to the sides and I am going to make it work. It does add beauty to the patio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pergola is a beautiful addition to my backyard. Purchase and delivery was flawless and all the pieces were in great condition. And it was easy to put together!! Again, this pergola is a beautiful addition that adds so much character to my outdoor space.
