We bought the 16 x 12 Beaumont Pergola in April 2023. It was delivered quickly and the installation service Go Configure contacted us promptly, set up the appointment, showed up and efficiently installed the pergola. Great experience all the way around!!!

We bought this pergola a year ago and love it. We actually bought two of them and they were very easy to connect into one giant pergola with just a few extra leftover pieces. It is very sturdy and has held up well through a Midwest winter and rainy spring. We installed our own shade sails under the pergola for added shade and it is great. Highly recommend this product. It was not difficult to put together, instructions were clear and easy to follow. My husband and I put up two pergolas slowly over 2-3 weekends, but you could do it all in one weekend if you wanted to.

We bought a 12x14 gazebo and two 12x14 pergolas to occupy our new concrete patio. We have always loved the ambiance of this look and finally found a quality product! We first sealed all of the wood. My husband built the gazebo in two days, the first pergola in 8 hours and the second pergola in six hours. The key was using two a-frame extension ladders. We’re thrilled with the finished project!!!

After reading many reviews, we decided to purchase the 12x20 Beaumont pergola for the far side of our pool area. It is the perfect addition and finishes the space beautifully serving as a separation between the pool area and backyard “fun.” The pergola is real wood and very heavy (when putting together). My husband and I (ages 52 and 46) did it together with help from our 17 year old son when lifting. It took us some time (a full Saturday), but that included organizing the pieces before starting. We also worked slowly as I wanted to be sure we were doing it correctly to eliminate the need to undo and redo something - which would be a lot of work. We chose to paint our pergola (Turkish Coffee by Sherman Williams) to match our Tudor home as the natural stain the wood comes in was too light for our surrounding decor. We also strung lights and added curtains for comfort. This space is a favorite - even amongst the teenagers! We only put our pergola up a few weeks ago, but it’s heavy, solid and obviously high quality. I would highly recommend this particular pergola (12x20 Beaumont). Side note, the delivery was easy and the product arrived sooner than we expected. It comes in 4 large (heavy) boxes.

We have been waiting for years to create a patio space and this pergola is everything we could have hoped for! We absolutely love the aesthetic; it was straightforward to assemble; and it fit within our budget! We wanted one that could withstand high winds. I had my pergola erected last Saturday, and it's just beautiful. I love it. I've gotten a lot of comments on it already. If you follow the directions closely, install the BILT app, and watch the video, it really does go up easily. It took a contractor with two helpers 4.5 hours to put it up, and they said there were no problems.

I’ll admit a little slow becoming a pergola advocate. With the Texas sun, I do want a little more protection when cooking outside than these things natively offer. This 12x20 monster replaces a pair of 10x13 canopies. The wind has blown here more this year than in the past 60 years. My cheap canopies didn’t stand a chance. The vibration from the wind loosened half the screws and both simply collapsed. And they acted like sails before collapsing. The family joke was me getting everyone to help move them back into place at family gatherings. This baby is over 700 lbs and rated for 100 mph winds. I cannot imagine it moving for some wimpy 40 mph breeze. I need to conjure up some Sun/rain protection, but I am beyond thrilled with it. I ordered the installation when I purchased the pergola. A precise date/time was set for the installation from emails they were coming from Back Yard Discovery. However, when the installers arrived without the pergola at the appointed hour, I realized there was a disconnect somewhere. The pergola magically arrived Friday before the 4th of July weekend. I called the installers back and darned if they didn’t come Saturday morning to install this thing. They just left. Other than signing their paperwork, I actually haven’t goner over it closely yet. But the installers were punctual, polite, and very, very efficient. This is the summer for backyard projects that I have anticipated for a long time. This pergola is key to housing my entire outside cooking world and to have it dine in time for the 4th of July makes me very happy. Thanks to everyone involved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our fiasco with Amazon and promising to deliver our pergalo. We were exhausted fighting with Amazon’s trucking firm. A month had almost gone by and we finally got our money back, I called Backyard Discovery direct and within a few days as promised we got our Pergalo and simply love it! Thank you for working with us!

Purchased this in June 2022 and my wife and I assembled the entire thing. It's not difficult just time consuming. It took us about 10 hours but again not difficult to do. The instructions are well organized. We put together most of the pieces in the garage and carried them to the back yard for total assembly. We have at least 5 neighbors who have asked questions and compliments us on it. We installed some roll shades as well for the afternoon sun and it's perfect. I expect to do a protectant stain coat this teak to keep the color so the cedar doesn't start looking gray like cedar does when it's weathered. Keep in mind this is Chinese cedar which is a bit different than American red cedar, but for the price, and knowing what you're going to get, you can't go wrong.

I purchased 4 of these 10x12's and combined them into one gisnt pergola. it's awesome. Yes you need a minimum of two additional people to assist you. As mentioned in the other reviews some of the holes do not line up. I discovered this early in the build and purchased the appropriate long drill bit. From that point on all of the holes were drilled prior to assembly or drilled when assembled as with the ends. I did have to purchase additional P1 & P2 long & short purlins and add a 20' center redwood purlin of my own to join them. I did not secure the posts to the concrete. the weight alone keeps it in place and will allow me to move it if necessary. The result is spectacular. I even had enough pieces left over to make a 5th pergola. I just needed to purchase 2 additional joists and some P1's & P2's The quality of the wood is great. You just can't get this kind of Cedar anywhere else. Make sure you treat it with water seal preferably before or during or after assembly. Brush or spray works great. I used a 2 gallon garden sprayer. I am in a very dry desert climate and do not expect it rot due to moisture, but just to be safe I did anyway. Yes it may be a chore to build but it's worth it. .
