LG products have a cover for the heating element so that type of incident cannot recur. After a month of operation the LG is superior in cleaning and drying to an older Miele and the more recent Kitchenaid

I do like front controls design is good Bottom spray pinwheel broke already- dishwasher is only 6 months old! It is made with a very tiny piece of plastic holding it all together. It was repaired under warranty but this makes me question quality of the product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our new LG Dishwasher installed about a month ago, and we are very pleased with how clean and dry the dishes are after the cycle. We really like the front controls. You can hardly see them against the black stainless, when not in use. We are very happy with our purchase.

We bought this dishwasher to match our other LG appliances. It does a great job in cleaning our dishes. We like the top rack for utensils and the stainless steel interior. Right now though, we have been unable to get our dishes completely dry. We have tried all the settings available to no avail. I have checked and rechecked the drain hose for kinks, etc. but all seems well. Right now we crack the door to aid in drying but I would love some assistance from LG on how to solve this problem. Overall we like our LG appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lift out silverware basket is stable on the counter for easy unloading. Top tray is perfect for large knives and kitchen accessories. Unit it super quiet when running and alarm is very pleasant sounding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the dishwasher in November. No more clunk clunk swish swish...this unit is whisper quiet and the dishes come out sparkling clean. I really like the nighttime Extra Dry option and the adjustable shelves. But I'm truly enjoying the quiet!

My dishes are never completely clean. There’s always one to five pieces that don’t get clean. I have to basically rinse them almost completely clean before I put them in the dishwasher. The rinse aid detector never tells me that I need to put some in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever owned. Besides that, it does a great job of cleaning and even dries better than what I had before. I mainly use the “Auto” setting, but it is nice to see there are other options.

Called and called and called and finally he was able to get someone out here. He seemed to find the problem but now if we don’t wash dishes at least every two or three days it starts to stink again. no more LG for us
