[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher broke on Thanksgiving day, so I went to pick out a new one without any pre-thought out ideas of the features I really wanted. I agreed to purchase the one that was soonest available. It turned out that I love the LG dishwasher. It is sleek, easy to use, and very roomy on the inside. I am surprised that I love the third rack for things like serving spoons, bottle caps and other small items. I also like that I can fit so many items in the silverware rack. It has turned out to be a great buy at a reasonable price and my dishes are super clean too!

Very quiet when running. The very top 3rd rack is nice for lids and utensils, sometimes limits the heighth of what can go on the normal top rack, but overall a nice feature. Still trying to decide best detergent to use and cycle as of right now using a powder detergent with normal and energy saving cycle and doesn't always get silverware clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for a month now and we love it, it’s incredibly quiet! The only thing that makes a noise is the drain. My wife loves the adjustable top rack (it was one of the selling points for her) it’s very smooth and has very accessible handles to help with the adjustment. Other models we looked at were much more difficult to maneuver. The black stainless steel looks amazing in our kitchen and is perfect since we have animals that brush up against it and push off of it (cats on the counter) leaving no hair or prints. Love the stainless steel inside since it helps with odor and stains. I’m a journeyman plumber and installed the unit myself and have not had any problems with leaks or draining.

I had this unit installed in March, it is louder than the Bosch unit it replaced. This unit was purchased because it had a lower decibel rating. Tech came out and indicated the unit was louder than it should be. LG says it’s working fine… if LG states the unit is not the problem, either LG specs are incorrect or fraudulently misleading. I shouldn’t hear my dishwasher from three rooms away when I could stand next to the Bosch and only hear it during the water draining cycle. I regret everything about this purchase.

I bought this dishwasher as part of package during a sale event (with a LG fridge, which we love). It replaced a 30-year-old Amana. It does not perform as well as my old dishwasher - dishes come out damp (even when using a rinse aid), the tub remains wet when I load it. It needs to be cracked open for a day to dry out the tub and dishes. Also, it takes over 2 hours to run a cycle. My old Amana was under an hour and the dishes always came out dry. I also do not like the tone of the warning chimes - it is too high pitched to hear, for those of us with some hearing loss. The front buttons are in the way when I'm using the counter and I turn on the power frequently. Right now, even though it had minor blemishes and looked older, I wish we still had our 30 year old dishwasher. It performed better than the new LG.

This dishwasher has two shelves plus that top rack which is great. But I wish it had a cycle that includes a rapid wash when dishes are lightly soiled. It has a delicate cycle which works for that. But the turbo doesn't include drying, and adding drying makes it longer than the delicate cycle. A Bosch I have does a one hour wash and dry which works great.

I purchased this dishwasher a month and a half ago. The installation of it was fairly straightforward and easy. However, I’m not entirely impressed with the materials used to build this machine. It feels flimsy and I’m concerned that it will not have a long life. For example, the leveling feet on the machine are made of plastic and while I was trying to install my machine, the one foot stripped out. I’m waiting for the repair. On the other hand, the customer service I’ve had has been stellar. The rep was very nice and was thorough and followed up on the service call very promptly. The dishes do get cleaned nicely and has nice features.

This dishwasher has not disappointed me yet, the functions it offers is above any expectations. The inside size and multiple racks makes cleaning dishes a lot easier. This is highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought by upgrading, I would get a better product however, the 3rd (top) drawer is not useful and quite frankly, a nuisance, as you cannot even stack sandwich plates in the second rack, as the top one doesn’t give you the room. The silver where tray takes up too much room and in an inconvenient spot. Very cumbersome to the already unusable area. My dishes are always wet. The drying cycle is a joke. My last one had an energy saving heat dry. I’m just very discouraged. Wish I had stayed with my old one.

It cleans well, is efficient and is quite possibly the quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. I especially love the finish that leaves no handprints.
