If I had it to do over, I would have bought the controls on the top of the door. we are constantly inadvertently hitting something on the front when shutting the door. not yet used to that or having the silverware rack taking so much room. My last one had one I could put on the door and it was much better space.

Purchased unit in November and are very satisfied. We like the silverware tray and the multi-directional sprayers. The dishes come exceptionally clean, especially the utensils. There is wasted space on bottom rack between the two rows of tines. A lot quieter than our previous machine though there are a few moments during wash cycle that are louder than than the rest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher to replace my old, trusty, 35-year-old model and feel that I have truly entered the 21st century. It looks great in my kitchen, and works so quietly that I barely know it's on. The top flatware rack is a wonderful addition, and overall there's much more room than in my old model. There are a number of washing cycles to choose from, but so far I've only used "Automatic." It takes about an hour and a half to clean and dry the dishes, and there's no streaking or residue. I know there are other dishwashers that are much more expensive, but I can't imagine needing any other features than the ones in this model.

Installation was very easy and I especially liked the leveling mechanism. This dishwasher is VERY quiet which works well in an open concept house- otherwise there would be noise everywhere. There are enough wash cycles to choose from for almost all cleaning needs. Compared to other Brands this model offered us the right mix of good looks, nice mix of features, quiet operation and price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lower rack works amazingly and the adjustable second rack is a nice feature. I wish the top utensil rack was also adjustable for larger utensils. The dishwasher works even on stuck on food as long as its in the bottom rack. The adjustable settings and overnight dry is a great feature and delivers completely dry dishes. It would be nice to have a bottle wash option, but for the price it is an ok compromise. The filter basket is also a nice touch. It catches the food particles so they do not keep cycling with the dishes, but is easy to remove and empty after the wash is complete.

This unit it's amazingly quiet and does a great job cleaning on the Auto setting. If you leave the dishes sit for a week, Express wash setting does not get the dried food off, so now I soak the silverware until I am ready to wash. Busy family use probably won't have this problem. The top rack fits an amazing amount of silverware and is more sanitary because you don't have to touch the clean surfaces when done like you would with a side basket. I love the super-deep lower rack; able to fit cookie sheets, large skillets and large platters. The night dry keeps moisture from accumulating when you wash at bedtime. LG had the features I wanted (stainless interior, deep rack, third rack, white exterior). Overall, it was easy to install with detailed directions (59 yo female). The only tricky part was knowing which size screws for side-mounting to the cabinet. I used screws that were too small and now they are stuck forever in the dishwasher frame and can't get them back out. Would be nice to have the side-mounting screws included so you don't have to guess length and gauge. Overall, nice luxury to have when the whole family comes over and uses every dish in my house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed it 2 months ago and it works great. But after running it a couple of times, it wouldn't work and we tried everything we could think of. Including reading the operations manual.. I Called your help line and they scheduled a repair man. But then in resetting the racks we finally determined there in an interlocking waterline that must be forced in to allow the washer to work. Canceled the repairman and wishing your installation and operation manuals were more clear or specific about that subtle interlocking rack requirement.

This is a stylish, great dishwasher, perhaps too good. It gets so hot that it will melt any cheap plastic containers you put in it unless you turn down the heat setting. But at least you know you're dishes are sanitized! It can hold a lot of dishes if you leave the silverware basket out and use the extra top tray instead. But perhaps the best part about this dishwasher is LG's customer service. The control panel cracked, and I submitted a warranty request to see if they would send me the part. Instead, they sent a repairman who I thought was just going to assess the situation and order the part. But he came prepared with the front panel and fixed it before I could get home from work, which is just a five minute drive. I asked my wife what happened, and she told me he was already done replacing the panel and left. I've very happy with my purchase, and I am happy with all my LG appliances in general!

After putting in dirty dish and coffee cups with dried coffee to test, we have been thrilled! One negative about the install. Following the directions in the manual for leveling the dishwasher, it was not even close to level

so far so good. dishwasher has all the features we needed and does a very good job cleaning and drying. it is very quiet and we enjoy the cute chime at the end of the cycle telling us it is done. haven't had it long to go all out 5 stars, but right now we have no issues so far.
