I have had this dishwasher for a few weeks now. The dishes, pots and pans, cups, and utensils are very clean, It is very easy to use and relatively quiet. So far I am pleased with the purchase. I have one issue however and it is not with LG specifically. Why do almost all of the new appliances, like dishwashers and washers and dryers, take so long to complete their cycles? I'm no spring chicken and I remember when these items could complete their cycles in half the time and they were clean. Just something to ponder.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher but in the future I wouldn't buy one where the controls are on the front of unit. Because it is big, the dishwaser isn't flush with the cabinets but doesn't go pass the countertop. I keep hitting the start button on the it. The touch is way to sensitive in my opinion and should be like my stack washer and dryer where I have to hold the button for a few seconds before anything happens.

Owned this dishwasher for 1 year. I like the stainless interior, variety of cycles, and quiet wash. However, it does not clean or dry as well as I had hoped or as well as another high end dishwasher I have previously had. I expected more for the price and am disappointed.

So happy with my new dishwasher. Pros: upper rack for silver ware is a real back saver, you can also group like things together easier for quicker un loading. The stainless steel interior just looks...elegant. The middle rack is adjustable for taller items. There is also another basket on the bottom for small items, although we don't use it. Cons: Not really a con but, we chose the controls on the front instead of on top of the inside of the door. If you lean up against it while working on the counter, you can change the settings. Every setting has a little chime, so at least you know you have done it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first dishwasher i have ever had that had multiple wash options. If they are relatively clean a fast hour wash, but if they are REAL dirty the mega 3 hour wash it is. I was a little worried when i saw it didn't have a heating element for drying but those concerns were quickly squashed after the first cycle. And the fact you can fold down supports on the rack comes in real handy for larger items. Now all my appliances are going to be LG.

We've had this dishwasher about 6 weeks and are very happy with it. Easy to use electronic controls and operating options. Was a little concerned on how well it would dry dishes and plastics, but with the extra-dry option everything comes out nice and dry. We like the nite-dry setting for leaving dishes in overnight. I do wish the utensil tray handle was on the side of the tray, not in the middle blocking several baskets. I removed the handle for better access to the baskets. Installation was no problem, but I do have several comments/recommendations regarding the drain hose. First, the recess in the drain hose connector end that fits on a disposal is too shallow at about 3/4 inch. My old one was 1 1/4 inches. It would not take much, even with the hose clamp to have it pull off and flood the cabinet. Second, I'm not sure why there is a drain hose within a drain hose. It makes the whole hose assembly very rigid and hard to make the anti siphon loop and then a 90 to connect to the disposal. Third, and it applies to the thick somewhat rigid drain hose, I would rather see room behind the washer to let the hose come up and into the cabinet high on the sidewall. I followed the instructions and drilled a hole in the floor of my sink cabinet according to the template. It now occurs to me that if I ever had a water leak in that cabinet, water will flow down under the base/toe kick area and be very hard to clean up/dry. Cutting a hole in the bottom of a cabinet seems to be a very bad idea and I'm sorry I did it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install. Took some time to get it level but everything else was a breeze. Cleaned some of the dirtiest dishes I could find easily. Not silent, but much quieter that I expected. There was a piece of the insulation was missing, but after speaking with a LG rep it should be on the way to me. If not, I will have to lower my rating. It doesn't effect the function, but the insulation should make it a bit quieter, which was one of the main reasons I bought this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks beautiful! Very quiet compared to my old dishwasher. The pods fit in the compartment perfectly and I do use the recommended finishing liquid. I'm getting used to the silverware basket with separate slots for silverware but might remove the lid to make it easier to just toss in as removing them you have to put your fingers on the eating portion to remove. I gave it a 4 rating because I'm not sure the 3rd rack gets things as clean as it should. Sometimes I need to re wash items up there. Also the controls are on the front and every time someone accidently leans against the front of dishwasher it turns on so I have to stop it every once in while. Otherwise I am enjoying this product and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not overly impressed with the performance of this dishwasher, there's been several instances where dishes did not come clean. I like the 3 drawers. Putting bowls in the racks they dont quite sit right. The display is a different color than my other 2 lg products.

This machine is quiet, and gets the dishes cleaner than any dishwasher I have ever had. Stains on white cups that required pre-scrubbing before come out clean with no extra care. Love the top rack. Controls are a little hard to see, and are easy to bump into which turns the power on. But a bell tells you that happened. Wash time is really long, but no big deal.
