[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a dishwasher that developed venting issues due to our hard water. Remains to be seen if this one will hold up more than a few years, but so far so good. Quiet and easy to operate. I like the third cutlery rack and that the middle rack is adjustable. It fits big pots my old dishwasher couldn't. It took a little time to figure out how to get a full load of dishes on the bottom rack. Definitely can't load it in a rush if you want to get a lot in. I like that the inside bottom around the drain is flat and easy to wipe down after a load. No random crevices where missed food particles can accumulate. We installed the dishwasher ourselves. Ran into issues with the drain hose being larger diameter than our old model and needing it to run it closer to the floor. Otherwise install was pretty simple with good instructions. So far cleans everything well on auto setting. It has a lot of settings/features I haven't tried yet. Pros: Cleans well, quiet, can fit pots, adjustible shelves. Chose this model because it was highly rated for energy/water efficiency. Cons: A little difficult to load correctly, some on the interior parts feel plasticky/ flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dishwasher except I would prefer top controls rather than front controls. If you barely bump into dishwasher, it turns on. Very sensitive controls, but a great buy with half load settings and a great look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a month ago and i absolutley love everyhting about it. It is extremeley quiet which is a major plus. The controls are very easy to use and understand. Has a great turbo feature that washes in under an hour otherwise half load is hour and a half and full is almost 3. Great thing about this is you don't even have to do anything but scrape the dishes, put them in, add detergent and set cycle, sparkling clean dishes every time its done. When it is done there is that catchy LG chime to let you know. In my opinion LG products are the best.

This is the second dishwasher I’ve bought for this house in 20 years. I so t get excited about buying appliances, but going without a dishwasher is a hard no for me. My favorite thing about this dishwasher so far is being able to adjust the height of the upper rack so that you can take advantage of the top shelf.

I have to say I do love all my LG products. My dishwasher a year old is currently broken. Drain pump issue. Luckily it was still under warranty. I think it should’ve lasted longer. LG hires out repair. The technician informed me we will have to pull out the dishwasher because the dishwasher isn’t even with the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our old dishwasher died we had to find a new one. We wanted a quiet one. We found the average dishwasher is 50dB. It is hard to imagine what the sound of 50dB is. This one is 48dB. When it arrived and was hooked up we ran a cycle. It it so QUIET! It has been cleaning great.

This was my first time buying an LG product and am ecstatic at how well it cleans and how beautiful it looks in black stainless steel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher 2 weeks and it's been wonderful. Cleans well. It is quiet. Looks nice in my kitchen. It does stick out about a half inch from my counters which is annoying, but hopefully when we remodel that will be resolved.

We purchased the LDFN4542W a little over a month ago, and we could not be more pleased! Like most people, we wanted the best product, for the least cost, and we got it. Our research criteria was: product quality, price, performance, quiet and white front. LG nailed all five. Performance is stellar and is much quieter than we expected. There are others with more bells and whistles, that cost more, but if you want to wash dishes, the LDFN4542W is your machine!

I had hoped for a little better performance, and I really dislike the bottom tray arrangement. It doesn't work well for me as I often have wasted space. I tend to have small bowls, plates, etc., and this seems more designed for large bowls and pans. I wash these typically by hand.
