When building my mother in law suite I was able to pick all LG appliances. I am so happy with that decision. This dishwasher is very quiet, you would never know it was running. I love to bake. There is enough room for both mixing bowls, mixing blades, prep dishes. I'm very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace another broken Whirlpool (3 in 6 years). I had installed each previous Whirlpool with zero issues. Installing the LG was not as easy and although some features were nicer they also posed a few challenges. The Whirlpool had a 2 prong plug and the LG required a 3 prong plug, plus the lengths needed to be longer on the water inlet and electrical cord due to the channels and specific locations of the LG. The channels are a nice feature, but again different from the Whirlpool. The biggest issue and what took 80% of my time was the way it is mounted to the cabinet via the side screws. Although the method was very similar to the Whirlpool it was night and day different in effort. Ultimately I got longer screws after losing 3 in the bowels of the LG door. I hope it never causes a problem. As an engineer, someone should be fired over the poor design. However after installation it works well and am happy with it. I wish it was a bit quieter, but not too bad. The 3rd shelf at the top is nice. The tines take time to get used to as the Whirlpool seemed made for our dishes, but we are learning new ways. Longevity will be the key.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently just upgraded my dishwasher to the LG brand. I love it! It is super quiet and cleans really well. The best feature is the 3 shelving. The top shelf can hold tons of silverware!! I know have plenty of room for all my pots, pans, and dishes to be washed one one load!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this dishwasher EXCEPT for one MAJOR COMPLAINT: We paid a premium for this model since it features the third rack. We thought the third rack was a great idea since we could put items such as spatulas, wisks, ladles, etc. there in order to save space on the other two racks for everything else. Turns out that this rack is totally useless as there is no room height-wise to place these items there. In fact, LG agrees with this as their manual states on page 37, "The cutlery rack is best suited for flatware." THEN it goes on to say, "For best cleaning performance, place flatware in the silverware baskets." SO, nothing fits in the cutlery rack except flatware, and LG says not to use it for flatware. Again, we are very disappointed that we paid for something that we did not get!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice dishwasher and so far it's working great. The stainless steel interior is a real plus. My only complaint is about the installation which I did myself. Everything installed easy until I went to wire it. One tiny little screw held the cover plate on to the box where the wiring is. Of course either a person or a robot over tighten the tiny little phillips head screw stripping it. I had to drill out the screw then run into town to purchase the right metal screw to secure the cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I have not had to use it often, I do like being able to adjust the middle shelf. Even though I use good quality detergent tablets and rinse aid, I have found that my glasses do not always get clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way this dishwasher cleans and dries dishes. The only negative thing that I must mentioned is where the controls are located. If you brush up to them by accident they are super sensitive and turn on the dishwasher easily. The controls need to be on the top of the door not the front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought new and immediately broke for a control panel problem. Known issue that LG didn’t fix until the customer identified. Not a good way to handle a known problem but I guess I get it from a cost stand point.

I wasn’t sold on the third drawer (thinking I wouldn’t need it) but it is my favorite part of this dishwasher! Basically another great LG product , quite, efficient ( I also have a LG washer & dryer) and has so many features too. I would recommend this dishwasher.
