I purchased this dishwasher a couple of months ago as part of a complete kitchen appliance package. Like the looks and easy to use control panel. Use the upper flatware tray more than I thought I would for various items to small to wash in the lower racks. Very quiet during operation; so much that I'll sometimes check to make sure it's running.

And the second rack can be adjusted if you have taller items some of the time. Who would have thought how wonderful that feature would be! It is so quiet (compared to my old one) that I have been know to put my ear to it to make sure it is running ( with my old one, you were never sure!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have four other LG products and they have all been good products and for the ones I have to work on they are simple enough to do.This dishwasher had all the features that were new and got our interest. The install was a little tricky - but that is the way it is for dishwashers. I cut my hand s working on the electric box as everything is basically on the floor. This was a replacement... . The hose to the main water supply needed to be replace do (original copper) with a new dishwasher hose which is flexible and will adjust.

Our recent purchase of this unit was initiated by a undetected door seal leak in the old unit that caused a large spread of black mold underneath our laminate flooring. The huge remediation project led me to search for a high quality sturdy dishwasher. That search culminated in our new LG dishwasher. Sitting side by side while I prepped the area for installation, tile instead of laminate, I could see the build quality was superior and the door seal mounting and materials much more robust. The installation instructions were thorough, detailed and complete. The LG water connection much easier to thread on and gave me confidence it is never going to leak, while the previous unit was more like a garden hose connection that I was not confident about and could easily cross thread. It’s been about a month since I installed it and no leakage or complaints. The wife likes all the new shelving configurations and how quite it is. It matches our LG refrigerator now in its 3rd quarter of operation and we are thrilled with that also. Warranty Registration of the dishwasher was intuitive and fairly painless taking all of 5 minutes online. As a senior citizen this dishwasher is a purchase I expect to last way past the time when I can no longer get down on the floor and do these type of projects. My wife is in charge of operation and pushing all the right buttons and she reports how that is easy to learn to get superior results. We are delighted.

Can't say enough I pleased we are at our Seeing Eye Dog Kennel. So happy with the features where we can sanitize our bowls that we feed our dogs with and also the air or heat dry options to remove moisture. Large enough to accommodate even our largest water dishes. So many great features and options at price that we could afford with limited funds to purchase.

If they are relatively clean a fast hour wash, but if they are REAL dirty the mega 3 hour wash it is. I was a little worried when i saw it didn't have a heating element for drying but those concerns were quickly squashed after the first cycle. And the fact you can fold down supports on the rack comes in real handy for larger items. Now all my appliances are going to be LG.

I tested it out on a stainless steel frying pan that I had fried some bacon in and it came out spotless. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I liked the third rack in my original LG better than this one. Overall an awesome dishwasher that does the job so I don't have to.

This dishwasher is so quiet you won't even hear it running. I purposely put dirty dishes in and they came out sparkling clean. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for a new one.
