Poor design
We got one about 7 years ago and it worked well for the most part but it started to give error codes and upon closer inspection the bottom gasket in the door was completely deteriorated. I was able to purchase a new one. When removing the door and control panel, the control is made of a cheap plastic and all the attaching screw hole were broken just from everyday use. Very cheaply designed and the price to replace the control is half the cost of the dishwasher...Highly NOT recommended. Will not be purchasing LG again.

We just got this dishwasher installed (4- 14- 2023), first the people who Were supposed to installed were a nightmare.... When we used the first time didn't dry the dishers properly , we read the manual and it said to use the extra dry cycle .the dishes came out better dry than the 1st time but there was condensacion around the machine ...even when we open the box we were aware of water inside de washer...something is wrong with this model...we chose L G because we've been happy with their appliances before VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME

While condensation on the interior of the dishwasher is part of the normal drying process, continual use of rinse aid will aid in the sheeting of water and excess condensation. Horrible Installation
We purchased this dishwasher through Sam's Club. When it was delivered we were told that we would be contacted regarding installation. We weren't, so I reached out to Sam's who set up an install appointment. The installation was a joke. After two hours of attempting an install we were told "this is the best that we can do." The new dishwasher is the same size as the one it replaced. So now we have a new dishwasher that isn't completely installed and can't be used. The icing on the cake is now our garbage disposal (which they attached a line to doesn't work).

DEAD Unit
Worked great for a year then began to make terrible noise but still worked now it is dead guess can't make passed 3rd bday smh

Do not buy!
We bought this dishwasher 2 years ago, and now it will not even finish a full cycle. The only thing good about this dishwasher is the top rack for silverware. Run while you can!

Dishwasher
When it works cleans great. Had for 30 days and it leaked water all over my wood floor. Error code EA. Will need to call for service. Obviously not happy.

Front Control Panel Not Optimal
While I have no complaints about the machine itself, the one thing I would caution people about before buying is the control panel on the front of the door. My dishwasher is installed below my cabinet where my cups, glasses and plates are stored. Almost every time I get something out of the upper cupboard and brush against the dishwasher the machine turns on. Very annoying!
Not so great
Bought the dishwasher 4 months ago and still have problems with getting the water heated , even after making sure warm water is entering the washer, it shuts off in the middle with error flash. And even if I do not set high temperature, The cycle is very long and it does not dry well. I called twice already and it definitely helps adding the rinse, but I’m somewhat disappointed in the appliance.

Would not recommend.
Bottom rack falls off track when loading/unloading. configuration terrible..not able to load efficiently or completely. Shelf adjustable but reduces capacity for one shelf or the other. Leaves dishes wet even when extra drying function used. Only redeeming quality is that it’s very quiet. Terrible quality for the cost.
