Purchased on 1/16/2022 and had it installed on 2/02/2022. Finally had the opportunity to use the dishwasher on 2/16/2022 and must say was totally disappointed in the lack of drying. Tried many times to get the dishes dry to no avail. Even the utensils on the top rack had water on them as well as the inside door and the walls. Having other LG products am really not happy with this dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, mostly good. Bottom rack wants to come off rail when half way out, though. Love the countdown timer. Keeps me from opening it too early. I have noticed it takes a really long time to run a cycle, but read where some other cycles take less time, so I’ll try those. Dishes come out clean and fairly dry, but I always pre wash at sink out of habit. I did put a couple of things in there that were “dirty”, unfortunately it did not pass the test at the end. If I can find a fix for bottom rack, I’ll be 4.5 happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did much research before placing my order. I needed a shorter than standard to fit under my countertop since installing a tile floor. I also wanted QUIET. This unit is beautifully quiet, I can run it while we go to bed. My only complaint is the digital keypad is hard to read until you hit the power button. I need a flashlight to see what I'm doing to get started. I wish there was a way to turn on the digital lights with a switch. Otherwise, it's been GREAT and the sleek design is attractive.

My LG dishwasher is less than four years old. It washes the dishes well, but it does not dry them well. Also, the tongs keep collapsing on the bottom rung. We keep having to use zip ties to secure them. Last year, the motor went out. Yes, the PART was under warranty, but the labor was not. Now the dishwasher is broken again. It no longer cleans the dishes, makes horrible noises and displays the code, nE. This means that the Vario Motor is broken this time. So, after the 2 repairs, I will have spent nearly as much as the original dishwasher cost. I will never buy an LG product again. How can a FOUR year old dishwasher have 2 different motors go out!? Unacceptable!

It was easy to install and all is doing the things it should do. My son has no issues and likes the cleanly ness on his dishes. He really like the small item tray at the very top. it is really handy. Time will tell the rest of the story.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know if mine is defective, or if this is just trash. I bought this model in part because the photos showed the prongs on the bottom dish rack having curves to hold the plates up. The rack I received is not what is shown in photos, and the prongs will not stay locked in place. As soon as I put more than two plates, the prongs fall down, and then of course the plates all fall down. We purchased this to replace our old LG dishwasher which was leaking after only six years. We have probably $8000 of LG appliances in our kitchen, but I think we are done with them at this point.

Poor design with the buttons on the very front of the dishwasher. If you happen to lean against it, it will turn on. Not a good thing if it is running and you lean against it, as it will shut off. You have to start the cycle all over again! Buttons should have been tucked away at the top of the door facing the ceiling, to avoid this. This has happened to me numerous times. Otherwise, it cleans dishes well and is quiet. Just dislike the front buttons always turning on or off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like all our other appliances which are LG they get the job done. Every appliance we have besides our gas stove is LG. We haven't had any troubles with them for over 15 years. The over the stove microwave is about 5 years old after another name brand gave out in 2 years. This dishwasher get our pots and pans clean without pre-washing. The dishes are the same way. I really didn't think the 3rd top rack made any difference. It cleans our long utensils like they where on the bottom rack. We really enjoy watching tv without all the noise from the dishwasher. It runs very quite. The direct drive motor is the same as are wash machine. LG appliances last and that's why we buy them. I installed this dishwasher without buying a single part. It uses the standard dishwasher hook ups. That saves time and money. Easy to install. We got a great price with all the discounts. Buy LG because they get the gob done and they last for years.

We have had this machine for 5 months and the front panel power button is too sensitive! If you are running a cycle and accidentally brush up against the button it will power off the dishwasher mid-cycle. Then when you turn it back on, it will not remember where you left off and you will have to run the entire cycle again. If you have children who like to touch buttons, guess what, the child-lock feature works for all the other buttons except the Power button. So even if you engage the child lock you can still turn off the machine mid-cycle. We have cabinets above our dishwasher and it has happened more than we can count when reaching for plates/cups, etc and you accidentally brush up against the power button. I scoured the web looking for solutions...nothing to be found. You're stuck with a brand new machine nobody wants to go near for fear of turning it on/off. Find another model without front facing buttons!!!
