This air conditioner is excellent, it is the quietest unit I have ever owned. Totally satisfied!

Very quiet and cools quickly. Very easy to operate.

If you are familiar with a mini split AC - this is essentially a mini split in a box. It's very low draw, and extremely quiet. The compressor noise is basically nil. Fan noise is minimal even on high with the squirrel cage fan. If maintained, I believe this unit would last quite a long time. The fan will need to be cleaned eventually, but it should be a much easier job than cleaning a conventional AC fan - which is attached to the main shaft.

We purchased 2 of these units and they both lost their refrigerant within 1 season.

2 units in 60 days. Both garbage. Different models, same garbage. Chat is horrendous. Won't purchase from this company again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Midea AC is beautiful! Sleek design. Easy to follow instructions and added supplies for easy install, such as foam for the window sash. The top part opens when you turn it on and this is where the cool air blasts out. This is a big upgrade from our previous air conditioners and there is no comparison… this is top of the line. There is really no noise at all. I haven’t received my energy bill yet but I’m excited to see, I’m sure it is every bit as efficient as it says it is. Buy it!

I'm giving only 2 stars because all of the reviews say the unit is very quiet. The only reason we purchased it was because we were looking for a quieter unit. My husband just installed ours and it's very noisy. It's cooling the bedroom but we are dissapointed in the noise.
