Nice table wine

My wife loves it.

This is a very refreshing, very affordable grapefruit-forward sauvignon blanc. It has become a regular staple in our household.

Not my favorite, but it’s not bad. I prefer another brand that Sam’s doesn’t carry, but I’m ok with Oyster Bay, since I prefer to do all my shopping in one place.

I paired the Oyster bay Sauvignon Blanc with the bow tie chicken mushroom Alfredo pasta and it was the most delicious meal. The wine is crisp and refreshing and washed away the buttery tastes of the Alfredo. Its a citrus, fruity wine great taste for a hot summer day. Great wine amazing price and I highly recommend!

But Oyster Bay has managed to create a Sauvignon Blanc with exceptional quality for especially for the price range. Perhaps a little sweeter than most, that was actually a pleasant surprise for me as I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this wine that much. The lingering taste in my mouth is full bodied and fruitier than expected as well. I really enjoyed this wine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to start by saying I received this product for free from a complimentary Influenster promotion, but my thoughts and opinions are my own. I will start by saying that I don’t consider myself a wine connoisseur nor do I drink wine on a regular basis, but wanted to give this one a try. The bottle is pretty and I’m a fan of the name. I drank about an 6 oz pour and after initial sip, I knew it wouldn’t be for me. It’s very bitter…too bitter. I’m used to a sweeter wine or something a bit more playful as this one hits you with this face scrunching reaction after fully tasting and swallowing. It’s hard to tell what exactly I find so off-putting, but it has this woodsy, natural taste that is purposefully not covered my sweetener or something to make it a bit more consumable.. I’d personally spend $8 more and get a better tasting bottle. Sadly I would pass on this in the future.

I woke up with a headache, which doesn't always happen with wines with sulfates, but this one did. This star rating is also based on the cost, while not high, I have enjoyed cheaper wines more.
