The only thing that could be better are the lights in it. Can't see what's in it. So to fix the hat issues we will put in sticky LED lights with batteries.

We love this safe. After shopping around for months we decided on this one. It was the size we were looking for and a great price. Love that it has a light, outlet & USB inside.

Great safe. Only wish the middle divider shelf was removable and adjustable. Didn't know it came with lights, so, that was a really nice surprise. Would def recommend.

Definitely comparable to other 36-42 gun safes on the market, even those that retail for more money. The features included with this safe are outstanding. The internal finish is fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired, even down to the pre-installed plugs in the holes of the base if you decide not to bolt it to your floor. The rails and shelving are stout, allow for incremental adjustment, and the motion lighting is a great touch. The inclusion of a power plug for a dehumidifier is awesome, I just wish it was on the bottom instead of the top, but that just my personal preference.

First purchase of Sports Afield safe and so far, pretty impressed for a good basic home safe. I don't have much of a collection to store, so didn't need the big boy safe to have at home. Besides, I do not have room for those big monster safes. Nice lighting inside, shelves are nicely covered and moveable. The shelf supports are plastic so may not last forever.

I joined Sam's Club to purchase this gun safe. I almost gave 5 stars. IMO, it's a really nice gun safe for the price, size, and features. I'm happy with this purchase; however, do not expect the best protection from burglary, fire, or water damage. It meets my needs. Appearance is very nice (Nice paint, No dings or scratches). I heard noise inside door so I removed panel to look inside. I noticed the gypsum/ fireproofing boards were not secure. It was poorly glued from factory and likely came loose during transit/move. I spent $9 on fireproof cement/caulk to fill in gaps and secure gypsum panels. This worked out well but also the reason I removed one star from rating. I did not plan for this safe being so heavy! I'm not sure if they delivered. I scrambled to borrow pickup truck, appliance hand truck and strong friends to help. You may want to hire moving company, especially if stairs are involved.

The Sports Afield 36 Gun Safe is as described. It appears to be well made and is heavy, 402# shipping weight. The directions were correct and it was easy to program the lock. The interior lights are a great added bonus. If you leave the door open and leave area for a while the lights turn off then come on immediately when your hand is moved into the door opening. Therefore not constantly leaving the lights on. this should reduce your electric bill and help the light last longer.

Purchased this safe to safely store my firearms. It is we made and has quite a few conveniences that I found after purchase. The motion detected light is the best but there are several other nice factors and now I keep my important documents in there as well.

Safe came laying down on its face well protected. Hard to ship these standing up and not tipping over. Box had torn a little in transit. The driver called to make sure if I wouls want it. Couple scratches on the side. Nothing that would affect the safe's performance. Good quality cabinet plus the fire rating/flood rating which hopefully will never gwt tested. Overall a great experience. It is tough to argue with othee reviews of damage when those things can occur. Mine did not have any damage other than minor scratches.

Great and solid safe with many extras that other safes will not have at this price point. Great outer finish with design, triple sealed, extra steps for digital access, L.E.D lighting and both the fire and water ratings are higher than even many much more expensive safes. The interior is nice but as previously mentioned will not hold as many long guns if you have many with scopes, or AR style platform rifles but works for me with the five I have with plenty of room between them. Plenty of shelf's for storing ammo and hand guns. Only issue I have to mention is really with the delivery company used for my delivery (AIT Worldwide Logistics). Although the safe was not damaged from my inspection, the two smaller guys delivering it were not properly equipped to delivery a 400 pound safe. Their delivery truck did not have a hydraulic lift, so they needed to slide it off the back of the truck with my help to add. The dolly used was not the right kind and should have been the kind with straps to help keep it more secure and easier to handle. The safe was also lying on its back side I believe it was and should have been standing vertically up I believe, so had concerns of possible damage but haven't detected any at this point. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is become if the horrible delivery experience. In the end I would highly recommend this safe and at the $50 off during Black Friday with no tax and free delivery.
