I have only had it a few days but so far I like the way you can organize the shelving and customize the heights. The light is plus because other safes do not have one built in, you have to add pop ups. The combination takes a little getting used to if you have a different safe but its super easy. The beeps are a little loud and the locking mechanism isn't very smooth but for the price not so bad. It serves its purpose. It does not have any feet/legs so be prepared to put coasters on the bottom or something because if not, it will lay completely on the floor and it will be difficult to move around and may scratch your floors depending on the type of floor you have. My delivery was smooth in that it came in on time but the external cardboard box was completely damaged and was tapped up. They don't bring it into your home. They leave it at the door and you have to figure out how to move it to its home. It is heavy. I placed it on a movers tarp on the floor and moved it like that since I have tile floors. When I took the cardboard off, the safe was damaged. It had a few dings and a few scratches. I would've returned it but it was too much of a hassle and who knows how long it would take to get another one. So lets see how it stands the test of time.

Overall I'm very happy with this. After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned about what condition it might be in after opening, but it was free of any scratches or defects. Full disclosure, I did pick it up and transport it myself. It weighs every bit of what it is advertised as, and is definitely a two person job with a dolly. Some nice features are the carpeting, lots of shelves, and the motion lighting. If there were a way to do so I'd give it 4.5 stars just because I think the directions could be a little better and clear, but set-up wasn't too bad, and the track slots may not be perfectly even onthe pre-mounted clips. For the price, and with the fire rating it has it was the best deal I found. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would definitely recommend it.

The safe was light enough to maneuver myself (about 350 lbs). Of course that means it's also thinner metal, but for the price it had what I wanted. I bought an 18" dehumidifier to finish the add-ons. It's easy to setup and looks good. I should have swapped out the plastic anchors that came with it for lead anchors.

I hope the fire rating and water protection is what they claim, but very bad appearance! Dents and grinder marks on welded area on top at eye level before painting and the door is also in a bind trying to shut. I don't think it's an isolated incident, just very bad quality control and Sam's should demand better for their customers. I will keep it for the protection rating, but very disappointed in quality and appearance! For some reason the website is not letting me download pictures and would not recommend to a friend!

Great safe for the money. Arrived with a dent on the top and large scratch on the bottom, otherwise a great purchase.

Not sure what others experienced, but I got exactly what was described. No dents, and no problems whatsoever. Very good safe for the price. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
