Great safe for my collection. It would have been nice to see a setup guide for all the shelving that comes with the unit. Also, the motion detector that turns on the lights in the safe needs to be reset constantly in order to get the lights to work. Other then that, it is a greta safe, easy to setup and use.

Great safe for the price!! This safe has all the features of most larger, more expensive safes. You can store pistols on the door. The safe also has an inside receptacle so you can add a dehumidifier. Interior motion activated lights. Fingerprint safe combination lock. Very well thought out safe.

After unpackaging, this safe looked like a toy that had been played with by a giant (every corner was dented, painted scraped off, door partially collapsed). Remarkable that better shipping & handling isn't higher on the priority list. Also remarkable is that no one from Sams Club apparently willing to help resolve this issue nor is the manufacturer. Actually Sam's has stopped taking my calls and I am not getting responses to emails. The interior & apparent build quality overall is well done. To date I haven't even been able to get the electronic lock on the door much less get it tested so I don't even know if this works yet...I have my doubts. I'm not even sure of the door seals will finction as designed this thing is so mangled. I'm highly disappointed.

Sam's club sent me damaged item. I received this product on pallet sitting upside down and left corner totally smashed. I called couple times customer service for return, but they did not issue refund yet. Now this heavy piece of junk is sitting in my house.

Repeated rescheduling of a phantom delivery that has never arrived. Now they say they can't even locate it! Very disappointing!

Ordered 2 one was fine other on had broken top brackets. The shelf rails where all different heights and some screws were striped.

The electronic lock would not work. Still working on getting it fixed and it's been this way going on three weeks.

I was disappointed because we paid $100 to have this item delivered and it had a big dent in the front right side. This was a gift. I would hope they would be more careful with the products people purchase.

I read other reviews on this safe before I bought it and was a little concerned about the potential for shipping damage. When the safe arrived the cardboard container was in tatters and I nearly did not accept it from the delivery person. Based on the condition of the box I assumed it had to be damaged. Turns out it only had a small scratch, small dent on the side and some chipped paint around a door hinge which probably did not occur in shipment. The safe arrived with two inside shelves installed which I think may have had other shelves stacked on them. One of the installed shelves had broken the plastic support brackets under it, probably from being dropped at some point during shipment. There are plenty of plastic shelf brackets that come with the safe so that was not a problem. The safe itself is easy to set up. The keypad and 9 volt battery need to be installed as well as the three spokes for the door handle. Instructions were clear and easy. It comes with two backup keys in the event the battery on the combination pad fails for some reason such as a dead battery. The setup process allows you to set up your own keypad code. There's lots of room and plenty of shelves for what I needed it for. I'd looked at smaller safes that claimed they could fit the amount of long guns I need to store (5 for now) but it would have been a tough fit. I also can now store my pistols on the shelves along with some ammo and gun related items that had been stored in a closet. With a grand baby on the way I decided that I needed to baby proof my guns. I have not yet connected the safe to an electrical outlet but it is wired for interior lights that supposedly come on when the door is opened. So all in all I'm happy with this purchase and the price was right.

I hope the fire rating and water protection is what they claim, but very bad appearance! Dents and grinder marks on welded area on top at eye level before painting and the door is also in a bind trying to shut. I don't think it's an isolated incident, just very bad quality control and Sam's should demand better for their customers. I will keep it for the protection rating, but very disappointed in quality and appearance! For some reason the website is not letting me download pictures and would not recommend to a friend!
