I love how easy these egg whites are to measure and apply to my meal prep plans. I purchased this one time and went back for more only to find it not stocked anymore at any of my local Sam's Club's. Is this normal? Will they come back? :confused:

When I bought these over 2 weeks ago it was great. Then the next week the walk in cooler was shut down with a sign that stated. “Closed until further notice” so I was not able to get any egg whites, eggs, or fresh vegetables. Should have sent a notification saying the walk in coolers where down so when people went in, they would have known before hand. Today the coolers were working but didn’t know until I got there. Poor communication with all the app notifications I get when the app shows this as my store that I shop. I think anyone who uses the app and gets notifications from Sam’s should be notified of any department shut downs like the walk in coolers. This is just my opinion because I shop here every week for my family’s groceries.

There's many comments about an increase in the price of egg whites. The price of eggs are up 65% from 2022, so one would assume that egg whites would have to increase in price as well. I've been eating Sam's Club egg whites for about 10 years and they are the highest quality and best price available. They're great for breakfast and anytime you need fried eggs; however forget about using them for baking, as the pasteurization process includes a rapid heating - this does not cook the eggs, but it does change their consistency. I have tried baking with these by adding regular eggs with the recipes, but it doesn't work - Quiche included. The pasteurization process seems to bring extra moisture into the egg. I tried using these eggs for my dog's chicken & rice meals that I freeze, and when thawing, the excess moisture soaks the rice and chicken. But if you're just looking for a low-fat protein for frying, these egg whites cannot be beat!

Unfortunately, we mistook this for the equivalent for eggbeaters, given that the light brown color of the box and yellow parts of the print evoked that type of connection for us. Then, once we opened the first one, we took another look at the label, which clearly stated Liquid Egg Whites. If somebody were to look for just egg whites, this might be an excellent product (I wouldn't know), but when expecting the equivalent of eggbeaters (which I am reasonably sure Sam's Club used to carry years ago), we were gravely disappointed

I bought these since my Sam's had an egg shortage. I am a novice baker & intended to use these for making white cake, angel food cake, and macarons (I've used local grocers' cartoned egg whites without issue). These absolutely did not whip up....I barely got soft peaks. I used another brand in between batches & those worked fine. These egg whites look watery and are useless for baking, in addition to being a expensive. All cartons produced the same result. Like another said, adding a stabilizer did not help. If you're using these for baking, save money & pass on these.
