But I can only keep things in there for 3 days max or the chemical smell permeates the food. I've cleaned it with baking soda and vinegar about 5 times now but the smell haven't gone away. I also had the fridge people come look at it and said they smelt nothing? Everyone in my family can smell and taste it but idk. Hopefully it goes away.

I'm especially impressed with the performance of the vegetable drawers. Fresh veggies last longer than ever. Temperature control is pretty good. I have fridge thermometers in the freezer and fridge compartment (in the fridge, on the top shelf, which is the coldest, being nearest the freezer). Keep the freezer open a little too long and it recovers temperature quite quickly. The top fridge shelf OCCASIONALLY drops below 32 degrees F. for a short time, but since I'm keeping soft drinks there there is no issue with food freezing. I like the glass shelves. They will be easy to clean when that becomes necessary. I like the amount of space in the door shelves. Plenty of room for all of my refrigerated condiments and dairy. VERY quiet. With my air filter running in the same room, I can BARELY hear the refrigerator when it "turns on". Note that I bought LG because they are top-rated in RELIABILITY, and of course after two weeks I have no idea how reliable this particular fridge will be. The price was very competitive for a 20 cu ft FROST FREE stainless fridge. Only the (unreliable) Chinese brands were significantly less expensive.

They stopped making phones, and that is good. but I have LG 4k dvd/bluRay player, and regular blu ray players all LG. The refrigerator cools rapidly and the freezer is just right.

My fruit and vegetables last for over a month in the humidity control drawers. The only thing I wish it had is a deli drawer. It really keep the food cold and has a lot of room.

I noticed after about a week of using the refrigerator the beverages were not getting cold and ice cream was not freezing solid. The shelves are really odd. The shelves are made so you can only see what is in the front of the shelf everything else gets loss in the back of the shelves. If I had to do it all over, I would buy something different. I have had the repairman come out and tell me the compressor is bad but the part is not available.

This refrigerator is a replacement for one that just died. It is also the refrigerator that we have in the garage. It holds all the overflow that we can't fit in our kitchen refrigerator. The outside is sleek and it's well-lit on the inside. It also runs very quietly. The temperatures are holding steady in both compartments which are set at 3. By no means is this a top of the line model but we are only using it as a second refrigerator. So far we are very pleased with it. This is the 4th LG appliance we have purchased in 5 years, the first was an over the range microwave and next a washer and dryer. They all work great and we are happy with them.

Consumer tests said LG was in the top 10 this year and I found a model that fit into the niche in my kitchen, so, I chose this LG as a replacement for my failing refrigerator. Its temperature reached the optimum within 6 hours of installation and has great operation since then - about 3 weeks ago.

If I had any concerns, it would be the depth of the fridge. It is difficult at my age to see into the back. Although I knew this from the beginning, I do miss external handles.
