[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is full of character and complexity. I enjoyed experiencing the unique flavors added by aging this Cabernet in Bourbon Whiskey barrels. This wine paired especially well with a charcuterie board with fine cheeses and meats. I look forward to trying this again at my next gathering!

Definitely a little velvety on the tongue I can taste some blackberry and plum with hints of what I think is oak and vanilla. I paired this with some cranberry goat cheese and Triscuits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma and taste were spectacular, you can really taste the bourbon/barrel taste without it being over powering! I paired it with a few different cheese/meat plates as well as several pasta dishes I had! I will definitely be buying more in the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor of the Cab is semi dry, soft with little notes of dark berries and a slight bourbon oak flavor on the end. I think it pairs well with seeded crackers, prosciutto, sharp cheddar cheese and crisp green grapes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Robert Mondavi Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon. It was dry but yet not too dry and I could really taste the hint of bourbon in the back note. I found this delicious with a pasta dish i made. It would also be delicious with eating red meats as well. It's definitely a excellent quality wine that I would give to friends as gifts for the upcoming holiday!

Truly deserving of crown I would definitely purchase this again and even bring it friends gatherings to share with the group. I'm always a cheese girl when I am drinking my red wines and the flavors I had paired nicely although I'm sure a nice meal would have been great with a glass of this as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cab was easy to drink and went down with a smooth finish but the flavor of bourbon and Cabernet didn’t blend well together. The aftertaste was not very pleasant and it tasted almost like a cocktail to me instead of a wine.

I love a BIG red, and could not be more pleased with the complexity and mystery of this lovely layered wine! I depicted some blackberry, caramel, & vanilla, with an oak finish! We wanted to try all three wines to be able to choose our favorite for our anniversary meal, this Cabernet is the winner!!!

I really didn't know if I would like the barrel aged wines but they actually hit quite nicely. We enjoyed this wine with a variety of meats, cheeses, and fruits. I think I enjoyed the cheeses best with this one.

Robert Mondavi wines can be hit or miss. This one is closer to a hit.
