[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon free through Ripple Street. My partner loves Cab Sav and was a big fan of this one! It's not overly dry and has a very smooth finish. I was able to taste the bourbon barrel finish more on this one, which might have added to the smooth finish. Definitely a strong choice, although not as archetypal of Cabernet Sauvignon as you might like

Color is dark ruby and it went very well with the Gouda cheese that we bought. I'm not too keen on full bodied wines but this bourbon aged cab was delicious

It paired very well with my pecan chicken and rice. Would definitely recommend, especially with the nice price tag!

It has a nice, maroon color and an acidic aroma right out of the bottle. Just a hint of that bourbon flavor and did I mention it's quite dry?

This one I tried by itself which was great but I feel that this would go great if you paired it with something like an appetizer cheese and crackers.

It is very rich in flavor and the bourbon flavor comes through a lot more than I anticipated, and since he loves bourbon, he’s a bigger fan than I am. It pairs nicely with meat based dishes and pastas we’ve noticed.
