[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of our go-to’s when we are shopping for wine. My husband is Italian, so wine is a big deal in our home. Cabernet Sauvignon is my wine of choice, and Robert Mondavi Private Seletiction is great. Being aged in bourbon barrels gives it a unique oaky flavor that finishes quite nicely.

There is a distinct, but not overwhelming oaky flavor that comes through. I preferred the other Mondavi bottles I tried to this one but that was probably due to personal taste.

Subtle notes of bourbon and cherry while packed with smooth, smoky flavor. Great paired with a red meat dish, or alone by a campfire. Great quality wine to share with friends!

The bourbon barrel-aged definitely helped to enhance the flavors. Some people thought it was a little dry for them, so thats why a star was taken away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine has a great fruit flavor aroma a bit of a kick. The flavor has a bit of a spicy unexpected kick but its what really makes the wine. We had it with a sharp white cheddar cheese and thought it went great together. This has definitely become my go to wine especially on steak nights!

It had a rich burgundy color and a slightly smoky aroma with a hint of black cherry. It paired very well with our platter of cheeses, crackers, raspberries and chocolates! I also think it would be amazing in beef stew and will be experimenting with that tonight! I highly recommend this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful Wine. Structured, aromatic wine, with medium tannins and acidity. Purple color, full-bodied. In the mouth: an explosion of ripe red fruits, wood, vanilla, caramel and with good persistence with a light touch of smoke. All very balanced and integrated, alcohol, tannins. It oxygenates and improves. Lots of vanilla on the nose. In the mouth, an explosion of ripe red fruits, vanilla, even a little cocoa and black pepper. Relatively powerful and complex wine.

It was a little rough at first for me since I am not a Cabernet fan, but this definitely changed my opinion. It had a wonderful taste from the Bourbon and was very smooth. I ended up buying this again for my book club meeting and everyone really enjoyed the flavor. This is a new staple for my wine cabinet.

It was dry but yet not too dry and I could really taste the hint of bourbon in the back note. I found this delicious with a pasta dish i made. It would also be delicious with eating red meats as well. It's definitely a excellent quality wine that I would give to friends as gifts for the upcoming holiday!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon experience was not bad, The aroma was spicy/woodsy. The dark red appearance was good for me, however, the taste was very dry. The finish was low to medium tannins
