Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is my new favorite. It has a bold flavor and aroma that highlights the Bourbon. The aftertaste is pleasant and satisfying. The mouthfeel is on point. We enjoyed this exquisite wine with a cheese & fruit tray appetizer and a meatless pasta meal. I feel it will pair well with any hearty food. I will purchase again for myself, as well as, to serve/gift to family and friends.

I love the rich bold taste and aroma of this wine. And this one also goes very well with all natural original grape juice on the side. I really recommend this one rather it be lunch dinner or afternoon picnic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine had an earthy woodsy aroma and was a deep plum color. I thought I could smell cranberry or almost an ashy smell. I tried it and honestly have to say that I did not enjoy it. The Bourbon flavor was very prominent in this wine, and it was not a very pleasant taste. I could not drink much of it. My friends that tried this, did not like it either, it was very dry to them. I would not enjoy drinking this wine again. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys Bourbon or beer, but not anyone that enjoys a more fruity sweet wine. It is definitely better if you let it sit and serve chilled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Bourbon Barreled-Aged was an exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon with lots of character and nuisances. The aroma was warm and fruity and the color was a dark red. The taste was a smoky light oak flavor that even a non-red wine drinker enjoyed. The barrel flavor really comes through with the aftertaste, which was smooth and aged. This wine paired wonderfully with grilled filet mignon with brown gravy and a range of various cheeses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a general rule, I do not select a Cabernet wine however of the 3 wines I tasted, this was hands down my favorite. It had definite aromas of blackberry, mocha, and bourbon. It was deep in appearance and had a smooth taste. The dark fruits and hints of vanilla but finished dry with the bourbon notes. I was very pleasantly surprised with this wine and can say that with the price point and the flavor I will definitely purchase it again. I enjoyed the wine with a chili-infused pasta dish and it was delicious together. I would definitely recommend this wine and it was the easiest of the three wines I sampled to find in stores.

The taste was strong and very dry. I loved it! It had a taste of oak and a hint of fruit. Very memorable!! This would be so good paired with steak or ribs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very interested to try the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon by Robert Mondavi. I like Cabernet Sauvignon, but I'd never tried a Bourbon Barrel-Aged wine before, and I felled in love with it! It has rich a flavor of a delicious grape with notes of blackberry cobbler and a hint of toasted oak. It is a perfect addition to my dinner and pairs with a tasty cheese. I like it very much and would definitely buy it again!
