We paired it with a chicken parmigiana pasta. It didn't over power the flavor of the meal, but had a taste that paired up great with the meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shared this wine with friends at a Halloween party. Everyone enjoyed the bourbon barrel aged Cabernet Sauvignon. The dry wine had a bold flavor with a slight hint of sweet. The wine had hints of black cherry, toasty oak and coffee. Aging in the bourbon barrel created a unique taste for a Cabernet Sauvignon. We enjoyed this wine with a variety of foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first experience with wine aged in whisky barrels. The nose is slightly smoky, with dark fruit and then the distinct smell of bourbon. It's medium bodied in the mouth with, berries, oak and then the bourbon finishes. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth this is. Can't decide if itsit's whisky or wine kind of evening? Try some of both. Great to use when cooking a dish that calls for a rich deep flavor like beef Bourgogne

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] what a great event. loved the special touch with the wine and cheese knife and bottle opener. i love cabs. this was a medium balanced barrel aged cab. a little tart at first but warms up. ended up letting it sit for about an hour and it tasted amazing. and economically speaking not that pricy. would definitely buy this one again. i served this with my dinner, red meat and potatoes and paired nicely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed this cab a lot with our charcuterie assortment! The bourbon barrel-aging gave it great complexity while allowing the fruit to shine. The wine was bold, and I tasted dark berries along with vanilla and toasty flavors from the barrels. Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one was great a lot of tasteful flavor to it. It had a nice strong suite aroma to it it didn't have your typical wine smell to it. This one I tried by itself which was great but I feel that this would go great if you paired it with something like an appetizer cheese and crackers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the aroma smells somewhat sweet. can't really put my finger on what it smells like but it smells good. the flavor was different because it was kinda tart. it left like a lingering taste to it so I had to wash it down with something else to get rid of the taste. I probably will try it again but not 100 percent sure. my family enjoyed it though. I didn't really know what would go good with it. maybe some cheese or something thatvis stronger in flavor to outdo the flavor of the wine.

And we all loved the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet with the fruitiness without being overly sweet and goes great with so many different foods. Also great when you just want to have a great tasting glass of wine. It's very refreshing and something that I would buy again.
