[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel I must write a disclaimer that I am not a huge wine drinker. Furthermore, when given the choice between whites and red, I gravitate towards white wines. That being said, the Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon barrel-aged Cab was not the worst thing to drink alongside my Mexican cuisine. The spice of my food was cut down by the tartness of the red wine. The wine had its own flavor without being oppressive or long-lasting. The wine had a pleasing scarlet luster and minimal aroma. It is, by my limited study, a very sturdy middle-of-the-road product. I am not sure I would purchase this wine of my own accord; however, I did finish the glass presented to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine goes very well with a steak. Not sweet, moderately tart. Berry notes are very noticeable. I'm not usually a fan of this kind of wine, but I really liked this one. Perhaps I have a favorite)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can taste the fruit notes of the wine without it being too overpowering. Think notes of blackberries. On the back end you can taste barrel aged process which gives it a nice finish. i woud definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Mondavi bourbon barrel aged rum to my nephew.’s house. He prepared his famous rich and meat-filled “Sunday sauce” for dinner. It’s a rich, hearty marinara sauce filled with pork, sausage and meatballs. The Mondavi bourbon barrel aged wine complemented the meal perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really enjoyed the flavors of this wine. We just had some cheese, crackers, fruits and nuts with the wine. In the future I can see enjoying this with a great meal such as a good steak dinner. Overall a winner in our book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondovi bourbon barrel aged The aroma is exquisite, at the same time a little, you know until you try it, as its flavor really is, a little bitter acid the first sip is a little acid, as you continue drinking your palate gets used to it, I don't know if it will be better over time Hopefully the older the better accompany him alone

First sip and you see there are just flavors beyond flavors with this, so distinct and paired so nicely with my smoky cheeses. The smoked Gouda was probably the best with it, wow!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cabernet was a step above the others. The smell was warm and inviting. The taste was smooth and delightful. I served it to my guests with a board of crackers and Gouda and Goat cheese. The pairing was perfect. The Cabernet was a hit. I will be purchasing this more for our holiday get togethers.

First sip it has very bold flavors and a good mouth feel. it is more bitter than i usually like hur i believe thats due to the underlying bourbon taste. Overall i likely wouldn’t drink this particular wine again but I do still move Robert!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Those that liked the merlot enjoyed the cab, but those that enjoyed the red blend did not care for it. The foods did not change perspective as with the other wines. To one of the newbies to wine found the aroma almost acrid and sharp, potentially unenjoyable.
