[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tastes like sitting by a fire and camping. It is very smokey. I liked the Rum Barrel Aged Merlot more. It tasted fairly balanced, and I picked up flavors of cherry, oak and chocolate. I think this would be good with chicken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the taste of Robert Mondavi Merlot. It was a little string for my taste,but that could be from not being a huge drinker. I loved the bottle design, color and smells a little sweet. Was very delicious. I could only find 2 bottle the third was no where to be found. I will definitely put hase in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can definitely smell and taste the bourbon barrel flavor of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Slightly flavored with tannins, but overall a smooth deep finish. The cab pairs nicely with aged white cheddar and red grapes. I can definitely see myself enjoying this wine outside by a bonfire in winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cab is amazing. It has a great flavor and the you can smell the bourbon within the bottle. Yum! I would suggest letting the bottle breath so you can help the flavors mello. You can taste the vanilla and hints if berry, in the back notes. I enjoyed this with a flank steak with blue cheese compound and it was just perfect pairing, in my opinion. I would definitely partake of this wine in the future. Maybe sooner than later, with Thanksgiving being right around the corner. We all heard about turkey and red wine. (Nap time.)I think the cab is best paired with something hearty because the alcohol content is high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cab was easy to drink and went down with a smooth finish but the flavor of bourbon and Cabernet didn’t blend well together. The aftertaste was not very pleasant and it tasted almost like a cocktail to me instead of a wine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Collection Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon is a smooth red wine that goes well with a cheese plate and hummus. It has a fruit aroma and a less dry taste than some. While not a dry wine fan, it was a nice experience.
