[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this wine a few times now and it doesn’t disappoint. vanilla and oak on the nose. slightly tannic. Holds up to a hearty meal but would still go nicely with something more delicate. Definitely get the bourbon but it’s not as prevalent as I remember from past experiences. still very much enjoyed!

We both found this variety to be bolder and more tart than the Red Blend we tried previously. The aroma is the perfect blend of fruit and oak. It paired perfectly with our italian dinner off chicken parm and pasta. It kept the night going!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Mondavi bourbon barrel aged rum to my nephew.’s house. He prepared his famous rich and meat-filled “Sunday sauce” for dinner. It’s a rich, hearty marinara sauce filled with pork, sausage and meatballs. The Mondavi bourbon barrel aged wine complemented the meal perfectly.

Color is dark ruby and it went very well with the Gouda cheese that we bought. I'm not too keen on full bodied wines but this bourbon aged cab was delicious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice. Dry with a hint of sweetness. Fragrant with a nice oak note. The bourbon barrel aging really adds a unique taste that makes this wine pair well with a nice steak while also being delightful as a glass in its own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cabernet have me more of a tangy taste. When I smelled the cork I felt more of a cinnamon than brown sugar. First thoughts was I would like it but after the first sip I was not a fan. Again I tasted this on a clean palate but because of trying to like it we tried grapes also a small charcuterie with grapes, muenster cheese, sharp cheese, celery, ham and pepperoni. I would definitely only drink this again if we were bottles in on a girls night with charcuterie boards and a good book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is definitely bold. I'm not sure if it fits my palette, but I can sip it. To me I believe it has a great deep red color and it has a strong, flavorful taste (almost too strong) but then gets a little sweeter. The smell wasn't anything remarkable to me, smells like most red wines.
