This wine has a mild sweetness to the aroma and flavor. It’s not too dry. I don’t like whines that are too dry and leave you feeling thirsty immediately after taking a sip. We had this alone. But, I feel that it would pair well with a European meat and cheese charcuterie board. Had a great time drinking this and feeling fancy.

It’s a rich, hearty marinara sauce filled with pork, sausage and meatballs. The Mondavi bourbon barrel aged wine complemented the meal perfectly.
