It is an easy to drink Cabernet Sauvignon and can be enjoyed any day of the week, but also nice enough to bring for a host gift that won't break the bank. Add it to the love list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bourbon barrel aged cabernet is dry and with some very high oak notes coupled with some vanilla sweetness. I may be a little sensitive to alcohol so I do taste a hint of bourbon and it's not bad.

However, I just didn't really care too much for the taste. The wine itself was bland, slightly tart with a hint of cranberry. However, what I really noticed the most was the bourbon flavor which was a bit too much and seemed to leave a dry mineral feel in my mouth. Overall, I was simply not impressed.

It is an easy to drink, smooth cab with bourbon and oak flavors. It's more sweet than dry. Great for cool nights sitting by the firepit with friends and pairing it with some cheese, crackers and good times. Great wine to share that most people like.

I’m not a big hard liquor drinker, so when I drank the barrel-aged wine, I feel like all I could taste was the bourbon, and it kind of ruined the wine for me. I could not get passed the addition of flavor and for me, it wasn’t good. I’ll stick to regular wine without the liquor barrel-aged infusion.
