I loved pairing this with some dark chocolate pretzels. They complimented each other well with the sweetness of the wine and the bitter dark chocolate. The bourbon barrel aging really added a much enjoyed woodsy note that beautifully compliments the elegant bold flavor. I enjoyed the woods Z woodsy scent and flavor and it had a nice fruity finish. We enjoyed this wine a side of aged meats and bold cheeses. The wine stood up well to the different flavors while holding his own as a great wine for sipping. Overall I would say that this was my favorite and I can definitely see myself purchasing more of this variety in the future.

My partner loves Cab Sav and was a big fan of this one! It's not overly dry and has a very smooth finish. I was able to taste the bourbon barrel finish more on this one, which might have added to the smooth finish. Definitely a strong choice, although not as archetypal of Cabernet Sauvignon as you might like
