[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this wine so badly based on the glamorous and expensive looking bottle design. However, I just didn't really care too much for the taste. The wine itself was bland, slightly tart with a hint of cranberry. However, what I really noticed the most was the bourbon flavor which was a bit too much and seemed to leave a dry mineral feel in my mouth. Overall, I was simply not impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Cabernet was the perfect pairing with a rib eye steak dinner. The full bodied flavor was bold in color and at the same time smooth in taste. It is a wine that is perfect with food or enjoyed alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed the flavor of this wine and found the smoky taste to be good and not overpowering. I do not think we would buy it again in the future beacuse I prefer a sweeter red wine. We drank it by itself without food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bourbon barrel aged cabernet is dry and with some very high oak notes coupled with some vanilla sweetness. I may be a little sensitive to alcohol so I do taste a hint of bourbon and it's not bad.

It had a dark red appearance, was full bodied and paired well with all the foods we had. We all enjoyed the smell and taste not being to bourbon like, just with a hint of it. We noticed the bourbon smell and cherry notes as well. Overall delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time trying Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon. I found the color a nice deep red, aroma was fruity yet smoky with a sweet hint. The Flavor was tart yet sweet fruit blend with just a subtle hint of chocolate and a smoky after taste. It pairs well with Beef and Pasta. We paired ours with steak, butternut squash ravioli and French green beans. I highly recommend this wine for a dinner party or any special occasion.
