The wine is definitely perfect for a few combinations. I would definitely recommend it. I'm highly satisfied with my experience with this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found the aroma a little strong in comparison to other Cabs. The flavor was a little overwhelming at first, but than it began to mellow. We paired this with hard cheeses and meat. We finished it with a glazed pork roast dinner. Overall I will purchase this again, some of my guest were very impressed.

I will definitely be sending my mom a bottle to try. We paired it with some nice juicy steaks, baked potatoes, and broccoli.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive about tasting this wine. So many times the bourbon barrels overwhelm the Cabernet grapes. The combination here is a very good balance. The bourbon barrels very subtly enhance the flavor of the cab. This cab has the rich creamy flavor you expect from a cab. It’s full bodied and dry in just the right way. You get hints of fruit and leather, an excellent combination for a cab. Overall I’m very impressed with these budget friendly options from Robert Mondavi

It was super enjoyable to know it had the bourbon boldness. It was quite enjoyable with the appetizers, paired well with cheese and fruit. Def recommend.

It is very rich in flavor and the bourbon flavor comes through a lot more than I anticipated, and since he loves bourbon, he’s a bigger fan than I am. It pairs nicely with meat based dishes and pastas we’ve noticed.

For our party, we served BBQ ribs and brisket for a main course alongside the Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon and it was truly match made in heaven. The smokiness of the BBQ really brought out the oakiness and richness of the wine- it was a total revelation. Next time, we are going to try cooking the BBQ with the wine, as we normally would with beer, something tells me it's going to be amaaaazing! My guests said they will now pair BBQ with red wine from Mondavi- it was that good.

It was a smooth drink and went well with the cheese and crackers that I had. It had a nice aftertaste that made me want to have another sip.
