[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet is a bold and robust wine that goes great with red meat like a porters steak. It has a black cherry and blackberry flavor and is quite delicious. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be having this wine more often now that I have tried it.

I look forward to trying this in the future for family gatherings and hosted events. This is a really nice, dry and full bodied. The aging in a bourbon cask adds a bit more depth to a fine, reasonably priced, deep red wine.

Had a nice smooth flavor and some really nice notes on the pallet. We served with some cheese and crackers, pot roast (added some wine to the recipe as well!) It was just lovely!

I loved the hints of fruit while my husband loved the notes of oak and bourbon. It was smooth and will definitely be one we turn to again!

The Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth, velvety, oaky, and slightly fruity with notes of vanilla Musk and blackberry. It starts out smooth and velvety, and ends with a slight acidic punch. This would hold up well to saucy beefy dishes, or even chocolate desserts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Barrel-Aged wine, it went so wonderfully with my steak, it's not too sweet or overbearing which was on point for me. I love the taste and the flavors that gives, it is also decently priced for as much as you get in the bottle. I would happily recommend this Barrel-Aged wine to anyone that is looking to try it for the first time like I did, it certainly didn't disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bourbon barrel-aged Cabernet had me second guessing what I was drinking. The description was California grapes picked at the peak of ripeness but for me and my guests the aroma was bitter plum with a hint of cherry with a deep red appearance and the taste was dry, slightly bitter plum/cherry with spices. It was over-all a lot better than most dry wines we’ve tried and by the 3rd sip I created a fondness for it. We paired it with grilled foods and pasta dishes which went nicely with it, more so the grilled items. We rated it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Note: I am having to post another review of the Bourbon-Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon because the liquor stores said the distributor doesn’t carry the Rum Barrel-Aged Merlot and the Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend is on back order with no indication as to when it’ll be available again, and this is the only liquor distributor for the nearby counties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well balanced, full-bodied, aromatic cabernet that had great spice and fruit flavors. It paired really well with our swiss cheese and crackers and the whole party loved it! It was definitely my favorite wine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bold, with medium tannins and acidity. Notes of oak, vanilla, blackberry, tobacco, slightly smokey. A good quality wine, without being too pricey. We paired this with charcoal-grilled ribeyes, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious!
