"Neighbor, when's the last time you had a steaming bowl of Wolf branch chili?" <pause> "Well that's too long". If you're over 60 you probably remember that TV ad (in texas anyway). Wolf brand was the best canned chili you could get, Frito Pie (cut open a small bag of Fritos, add Wolf chili top with cheese) was served in our cafeteria and little league games. You couldn't do that now, this is lousy chili paste. no chunks of meat like it used to have. not sure what to do with 5 cans i have left. makes me feel old. i shouldn't be surprised, it' has been too long.

I have been eating Wolf brand Chili for 50
Years! I grew up in Texas and that is where it is made.  Best can chili you can buy.
I don't care for the texture me with beans. This one has tons of meat. I love to put some over white rice with a slice of American cheese. Great for lunch or to eat over tamales or enchiladas!
