When I opened the can it had the exact smell of canned dog food. Very reluctantly I gave it a chance but it was horrible. They tried to cover up the nasty taste with an excessive amount of hot sauce, even for Texas chili, which would not have been a good thing if it had a decent taste to begin with, but nothing could salvage it.

It both looked like and tasted like dog food. Very disappointed

This is mush in a can, greasy mush. There is no meat, it’s like paste.

More “whole rolled oats” than “meat products”. Decent flavor. Good topping for hot dogs, nachos, or tacos.

Does not look like image in box. Not much meat, basically just chili sauce, better than some. Ok is you just want to put on, got dogs, nachos etc...

Cans were loose and dented in shipping box. Shipping box was damaged. Products were really late delivery by several days.

IDK if all cans are like this but the case I got is meat paste. Looks like wet dog food. The flavor is there so I gave it a star. Never buying this again. I have to mix it with other cans of chili to get over the texture.

I’ve bought this once. This is a good flavor when used as a topping for brats. However, on its own, not so much. The contents include oatmeal. Yep, it’s an unmistakable taste.

The wolf brand chili is okay but like Hormel better. The Hormel chili has more meat in it.

Been eating this for years. Frito Pie!
