Best chili ever!

Wolf Brand Chili is the very best! We love it on our chili dogs, corny dogs, or just in a bowl with crackers!

Good Taste

Way to thin. I stocked up with 3 dozen cans because I remembered Wolf from years ago. Now it is not the same and more like a soup. So, I am using it as a base for veg and pasta.

Versatile, tasty!

A relatively new discovery for me -- I love this stuff! I use it mostly over rice topped with cheese for a quick meal. One can of this chili plus one package of Ben's Ready Rice (I use the Basmati variety), plus about 1/2 C shredded cheese = 2 generous servings. I've also used it to make chili dogs. The flavor is first-rate, and the texture/consistency is unusual (I'm more used to bigger "chunks" of meat), but perfect for my uses. I'm single, and keep this on hand to put together a quick meal whenever I'm having a "low energy" day and don't feel like spending 30-45 minutes cooking anything more complicated.

Manufacturing process Sucks & different than past

Wolf Chili WAS great, but now needs to update as it needs more spice and their cans that they put their product in are soldered wrong. My “can opener” can open other brands of chili easily, but the seams of Wolf’s cans get stuck and my “can opener” cannot open the lids on Wolf’s cans. It appears to me that my “old fashion can opener” is very capable, but Wolf Chili has changed how they solder their cans and has left out some important spice in ther manufacturing process. I have no problem with other brands of chili’s and my opener on their cans.

TOOK A CHANCE....

TOOK A CHANCE AND ORDERED THIS CHILI WHEN OTHER BRANDS WERE OUT OF STOCK AND THIS IS NOW THE ONLY CHILI I NOW BUY-WHAT A SURPRISE. A HINT OF SPICY HOT AND NO BEANS-I LOVE IT. I ADD A CAN OF BEANS SOMETIMES BUT BY ITSELF ITS GREAT-ESPECIALLY OVER CORNBREAD....

Don't wait too long to eat this!

Love Wolf Brand Chili. Usually use it for hot dogs or Mexican salad, but It is always great for a quick meal when you need it. Has a wonderful taste for canned chili and is hard to beat.

Good to have on hand

For the first 30+ years of our marriage I bought this when we wanted Frito Pie, but it began to give me a lot of reflux issues so I had to switch brands 10-20 years ago. I just ran out of the canned chili and decided to order more. I saw Wolf brand is cheaper so I bought a box of it for my husband and the Hormel for me. We like both brands, but GERD and dental problems are making it tougher for me to shop or cook. Still, this used to be my favorite brand. Switching had NOTHING to do with the brand. It had everything to do with muy gut. Literally.
