I tried this product a few weeks ago and my dog will now not eat anything but this as a mix in her kibble. The other brand she previously enjoyed was much more expensive, but she totally prefers this now. The price is right and the quality great! The packaging is also so much better than the plastic containers the other comes in. So glad I took a chance and tried it!

I purchased this because our older dogs have food sensitivities. We make homemade dogfood with carefully selected and carefully prepared ingredients for optimum nutrition. Sometimes we run out or dont have time. By our standards, this appears overcooked, if that makes sense. I dont know how much nutrition the dogs get out of it, and it is difficult for us to open. However, the dogs enjoyed it and it doesnt cause any reactions. It is good to have on hand for a dogfood topper, or even a dog that has difficulty chewing. The amount of money you spend isnt bad compared to the cost of purchasing ingredients for homemade dogfood (it is unfortunate there arent other options or proteins available)

My dogs are picky eaters, and they love this food. It doesn't look appetizing to a human, but you can see the vegetables in the food and it doesn't have a bad odor. My dogs love it and they are excited to eat every meal served. It is often out of stock and difficult to find. So when I find it, I buy several boxes.

i have an older dog that refuses to eat canned or dry dog food anymore.. But he LOVES this.. i mix some rice and steamed veggies in it, which he loves... much cheaper than subscription "human grade" dog food.. he will also eat it used as a topper on "sensitive stomach" type dry dog food ... PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE... and added variety of mixtures would be great...

I have never seen dog food packaged like this. I had no idea what I was buying! My granddaughter thought it would be a good choice, so I bought it. I was "babysitting" for my grandchildren when we ran out of canned dog. He is a very big dog, maybe half horse. But he can be fussy with dry food and sometimes has stomach issues with different brands. I mixed half a container into the dry dog food and it was a hit. He very quickly ate every bite. It was obvious that he loved it! Unfortunately, it also became obvious that so did their cat! I had to make sure their dog was nearby when I filled his bowl or I had to place the bowl outside, away from the cat. Otherwise, an unintended pet was happily dining on his food! In any case, this food was a big hit. My grand pets would give it four paws up if they were typing this. I highly recommended it. But beware of feline burglars!

Works wonderfully well! I needed something to stir into kibble like a healthy stew with gravy and this is it! My dog loves it! I compared the label to Purina 1 canned food with a gravy base and from what I remember of chemistry class it's comparable. It's a thick stew consistency with identifiable veges, stirs in well and my dog loves it! Once you understand the small box packaging, it's really genius. The little boxes close better than a can. I just close and add a small binder clip to keep it closed and pop it in the fridge. I get about 4 servings as a "topper" from each box--comparable to a can. Cheaper than the name brand cans, easier to store and less waste. Recyclable carton! The only down side I've found is it's not on the shelf at my Sam's store-- I have to have it shipped. Come on Sam's!-- put it on the shelves so more people can discover it!

My dogs are absolutely obsessed with this! The bad reviews must have had something wrong. I wish I had bought up more when they were on sale. I have to save a small bite for my cats now too when I feed everyone in the morning bc they sit there and meow for some!
