I have used Purina Adult Dog Chow Complete for years in my breeding program. I put all puppies on Purina Puppy Chow Complete. It’s my opinion the best all around dog food. Never any issues with my dogs or puppies. I recommend this brand to all new owners as well as people who inquire what type of dog and puppy food I use and if any issues. Purina is a time tested product and has been around since forever. It only makes sense to use it.

It is nice to see something made in American. I feel the quality of the product is higher than the dog foods made in other countries. I personally have had problems with another brand where my dogs almost died due to Salmonella. I watch recall lists and have never seen Purina on the list. That gives me confidence when I feed my dogs!

He was a lively, friendly, 12 week old collie and I named him Buck because I thought his color was like buck skin. The first things I bought was a bag of Purina Puppy Chow, a food bowl and a water bowl. I enrolled him for training at the dog club in Fort Worth Texas and for the nest year and a half we were there every week. I used the Purina Puppy Chow and later the Purina Dog Chow as rewards for training well. He loved it. Over the last fifty years, I have continued to use only Purina Dog Chow to feed Buck, Poogie, MacGregor, Patch, Dottie, Mollie, Cameron, Robbie, Buddie, and Reese Pup. Purina is the only dog food I have used and because I follow the recomended amounts on the bag, my dog's weights have been good and they have been healthy and active into old age. One need not consider any other brand but Purina for well nourished pups.

We rescued our dog Bella as a puppy she had parvo when we got her and it messed up her immune system. We feed her Purina dog chow and ever since she has had a beautiful coat and no more rashes when we feed her just a generic dog food she was always having skin rashes and she would have blisters around her mouth since the dog chow she has flawless skin and no more rashes or blisters around her mouth I highly recommend Purina Dog Chow and she just loves it

When i was growing up we always fed our dogs Purina. About 18 years ago i switched to pedigree because one of my chows flat out would not eat Purina. All these years they've done great. A few months ago i decided to give Purina a try again because a couple of my dogs were having digestive problems & freqently threw up. In 2-3 weeks a couple of them, not the same two, started losing their hair and none of them looked healthy. I realize it has been hot but all of them lost significant weight. I have since returned to pedigree & will not stray again!!! It has not taken them long to plump back up!

Our dogs like the taste and always eat it with no problems. We have tried other brands but always go back to the Purina Dog Chow because that is what they seem to like the best.

My dog, Baxter, who I’ve had for over seven years has always ate the puppy chow, and then dog chow. Over the last few months, I’ve noticed his stool has been loose and almost like diarrhea. I switched him to a different brand and it cleared up after going to the vet when he got real sick. After finishing up the other brand of dog food and switched back to the dog chow his stool became loose and discolored again.. My other dog, gator, has the same issue. In the same timeframe they have been eating more grass, slightly lethargic and scratching more.. When I switched them to the other brand recommended by my vet, they were not eating grass. It seems as if the dog chow has taken a down turn on quality. Unfortunately, I think I will be switching brands.

I bought THIS and switched my dogs over now they won't touch no other dog food. They love this stuff. On top of that it keeps the coats in great shape and healthy and shiny. It keeps then helthy and and gives them all the energy they need. My male border collie can clear the fence all day long and not get tired. He loves doing that. It was the best decision switching them over to this dog food and the greatest one ever.

My Jack Russell loved this food for quite some years. He never had anh digestive issues while on this food. Because of his age, I recently had to switch to a softer ones because he has lost some teeth and had made it hard for him to chew this food. The proce overall is great for the size bag.
