All my dogs have been raised on Purina Dog Chow from the puppy stage to the Complete Adult. The Complete Adult formula provides my dog with enough vitamins and minerals to keep her healthy; also she loves the chicken flavor food. She is 11 years old but still acts like a puppy! Dog Chow is the only food I feed my puppies for the last 20+ years! (I refer to my buddies as puppies no matter how old they are.) One particular pooch had such major stomach problems as a puppy that she couldn't eat anything I bought without major side effects. I finally tried Dog Chow after spending a small fortune on all kinds of special blends and brands. After I found she could eat the dog chow with absolutely no side effects, I would take her to the vet for her regular checkups and it was always the same questions: her fur is so soft & shiny and weight is perfect - WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING HER? I came across the Purina Complete Adult Dog Chow while shopping, read the ingredients and decided to try it. Holy cow am I glad I did! My dog loves it! Layla is normally a very picky eater, except when it comes to the Dog Chow. She eats the entire bowl in one sitting instead of eating little bits through out the day. I can't say enough about this product!

The only dog food we've ever used. My Grandfather raised his hunting beagles on it. My mother fed it to her Shepherd. And my family feeds our Leina. She loves it so much, she has her own way of letting me know when the bag is getting empty. She will drag the bag into my bedroom. My son is Autistic, and Leina is his companion animal- so her health is as important as his. The quality is unrivaled. It is the only brand I trust for my "Grand-dog".

we have a Australian Shepherd that will eat anything, but she refuses to eat this food. The first time she ate it puked it all up. I have gotten this brand in other flavors and also Kibbles, even Ol'roy and she eats it up,but not this. Im assuming its a bad batch or something. Wish I could get a refund or simply a bag of something similar.

I have been using Purina Dog Chow for nearly 30 years. I have never had any allergy issues in any of my dogs over the years ( I have had many mutts, 5 golden Retrievers and 2 Westies ( the last 2 breeds are definitely prone to allergies. I have been a veterinary receptionist for 30 years and when people ask what I use, I tell them Purina Dog Chow. People have the misconception that expensive is better. Not true. My dogs are living proof. I just recently switched to new NATURAL and am also very happy with it.

Duke, our white boxer, has been eating Purina for the past 8 years,; he loves It! When I bring the bag in from shopping, Duke gets excited and sits by it as if to say, " I want some". So, we open the bag and give him a few pieces before putting it in the container.

I decided to try Purina Dog Chow for various reasons. One it was plant based. Science says amino acids and protein are just that, with no difference in their source. She stopped itching after eating this food. My two large dogs loved it also. I go through 66 pounds of kibble per month. I couldn't get out of my head "if they have been in business for 80 years how can their food be so bad"?
