I really love the easy to serve pouch and can easily feed it to her for breakfast or add it on top of her nightly meal. I love that it actually looks like a nice home made meal. I can see what she is actually getting in her meal, plus all the ingredients help her maintain her active lifestyle.

I use this as a topper vs. feeding the whole package(even though I know she'd love the whole envelope). I feel good about feeding it to her as I can actually READ the ingredient list and it's chock full of wholesome protein AND veggies.

I was concerned about his weight moving forward since he barely eats. I tried Chicken & Salmon as a topper to his dry food and he gobbled down every single thing in the bowl! I love how you can see the bits of veggies and real food in the recipe. I have since tried it out on it's own without dry food and it's still a HIT! I was able to start mixing in his new food that I want to switch to because he will eat anything with Jinx on top! I appreciated that the carrots and the peas were real, and I could see them in the food. The way the bag opens is so simple and easy, and the food comes out smoothly also. Freddie loved the taste and I loved that it has the nutrients in a simple and real way. I like that I know most of the ingredients on the back of the bag, the only thing I am trying to avoid is seed oils.I don't love seeing sunflower seed oil. But as a whole, I'm really happy with the ingredients, and the ease of feeding our dog.

I was gifted this chicken homemade dog food in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say, my 6-year-old Pitbull named Kali loved it! Kali is a very picky eater, so I was a bit worried when I first introduced her to the food. At first, she was a bit hesitant and did some sniffing around, but once she got into it, there was no stopping her! She enjoyed it so much that she even wanted seconds! As of now, we are taking a portion of this food and mixing it with her dry food. I was relieved to find that this product didn't cause any change in Kali's stool, which has been an issue with other products we've tried in the past. It builds some confidence in being okay to give her a full serving without the dry food mixed in.
