My dog seems to really like the flavor of this food. It also attracted my cats too! The food does have a strong salmon smell when you open the bag and my dogs breath does smell a little fishy, but the food in the bowl doesn’t make the house smell or anything.

I have compared numerous dog foods trying to find the highest quality food for a reasonable price. This dog food is very comparable to the brand I paid double the price for and both of my dogs love it. No belly issues with either dog. Transitioned them slowly and just bought the second bag.

I give the food a 3 star rating only because my dog wasn’t interested in it at all. I was excited to give it a try because of all the good ingredients but my boy wanted his old food back. The food is for all stages of life and my dog is a senior dog. I’m hoping that they come out with a senior version of it so I can give it another try.

This was previously the best food we had found for our dog with allergies. I even recommended it to a friend. However, when the kibble size changed so did the quality. The food now has a foul odor, greasiness, and much more crumbs in the bottom. My dog no longer enjoys eating it and does not have the regular, healthy bowel movements she had on this food before. My friend whom I recommended the food to cannot even get her dogs to touch it. Very disappointing change. Not sure why they felt the need to switch things up, but I’ll have to find a better option because of it.

I found no one that was happy with the new digital check out system put on to your customers at this location. Having to scan everything while you are shopping is not an easy thing to do. It was a big topic among people while I was there. The system was launched that weekend from what I was told. I personally found it to be very bad business decision. It made me feel like I should be paid for performing checkout duties. Look at it this way, you could loose a large portion of your elderly customers just for the reason that most do well to take a picture with there phones. And having an elderly family member I know she could not shop by herself because they will be expected to scan all their items before they pull up to a machine to pay. And this machine could not say thank you for shopping with Sam’s today. I understand Sam’s business model of no sacks, no box’s to speak of, or help you to get your purchases to your vehicle. Less employees means more savings and keep profits up. And I believe that all good companies should have a good profit margin. All I personally ask is that you pay attention to all your customers, most are adults with children plus those over sixty years of age. Not all are the young ones that desire that all is done by a piece of plastic and the never see cash. This almost feels like the model that the federal government wants to launch (no cash allowed). Don’t get me wrong, I love Sam’s and will continue to shop, but I will not shop at one that has this system for checkout. And after reviewing my receipt. I saw no savings for being a temporary employee that day. I hope you studying this business decision and if you keep it in place you must make positive changes to it that makes the customer feel like they are getting something back for doing this job that has always been left up for a employee to perform. At this point all I feel along with those I spoke to that day is that it was done for the almighty dollar and not to benefit the customer. Thank you for taking the time to read and understand my thoughts about the new digital check out system. All the items, and food products I bought that day were great. This is why I shop Sam’s.

As a family who cares about ingredients for our dog who is sensitive to chicken - this does not have hidden chicken meal or any chicken product in it. Our dog was tired of beef so he is really happy with Salmon & Sweet Potato. We also love it has a velcro closed top to keep it fresh.

I cannot express enough how well our dog liked this Salmon Sweet Potato Recipe. She NEVER eats plain dry dog food and this she ate right out of the bag with nothing added. She is addicted! I never thought I would see it happen. Cant wait for her to try the other flavors!!

I really liked the ingredient list, protein level and fat content of this food; they were similar to a higher priced brand, in the same flavor, we had been using. Our dog LOVED it!! We transitioned him from the name brand to this MM and all were happy. We had a second bag delivered and, after a few meals from it, our dog became hesitant to eat. This quickly turned into days of vomiting and refusing to eat anything. After a visit with the vet, we switched back to the more expensive food without issue. After a week, I tried mixing in several pieces of the MM. He was hesitant to eat it and he immediately got sick when he did. We are not sure what has happened with the MM food - a bad batch? An ingredient change between his previous bag and this recent one? This food was recalled a year ago, so it is concerning. Either way, we have a nearly full bag of food that makes him sick. We are disappointed, but won't risk using the MM dogfood again - despite the listed ingredients and price.

I have four dogs, one with allergies. I read Labradoodles tend to have a chicken allergy and pro-plan shredded all have poultry in the ingredients! So I have this food a try and within 2 months my baby is no longer getting his allergy injections !!! Can’t be coincidental right? My dogs adjusted beautifully to the food change. I usually buy both the beef and salmon. My pups prefer the salmon hands down!

We gave the Member’s Mark “House Blend” dog food a try - big mistake. Even by dog food standards, the smell was awful, bordering on rancid. Both of our dogs’ stomachs were upset within a day, and instead of the usual solid cleanup in the backyard, we were dealing with piles that (pardon the image) looked like large Hershey’s Kisses that had melted in the sun. It might look like a good deal price-wise, but the “savings” weren’t worth the vet bills, laundry, or backyard cleanup. We switched back to our regular Blue brand immediately. Hard pass on this one.
